Today I learned that something as small as which piece of music to play at a demonstration can cause a very heated argument.

Aww, I was saying that e^(i*pi) is equal to -1, but I guess CB couldn't handle the pi symbol so the symbol and everything after it got cut off.

Today I learned that the Pomp and Circumstance recessional sounds a lot like the 80s 8-bit Legend of Zelda soundtrack.  Go figure.

Chaser: I learned about the controversy surrounding the HeLa cell line! Somebody mentioned it and oF cOuRsE Jay knows all about it so then he talked my ear off about it for the entirety of third period. Yes, Jay, we know you're very smart. *pats Jay's head*

I learned that math was TERRIBLE.

There's a street in Jamestowne, Virginia called Lafayette Street.... 

Also in the reginment for Williamsburg for the Revolutionary War, the first outfits were picked by Washington and were hunting shirts.  

My grade just came back from a trip to colonial Williamsburg (and some of Jamestowne), so.... Also I chose the worst person to write a creative writing letter from. Literally, there is no one at all like Marie-Joseph Paul Yves Roch Gilbert du Motier, the Marquis de La Fayette, aka Lafayette. 

Another thing I learned? There's pickle and jalapeño flavored cotton-candy... Also root beer float cotton candy tastes great. 

I learned how to play Go. It is a super cool game. 

Um, the fact that there is a 853-word long sentence in Les Miserables?

I learned you can buy variety packs of root beer, with all different kinds of companies, and have a root beer tasting night, kinda like a wine tasting but better because no alcohol.
