The closest thing I have to a collection is stuffed animals, but I don't really think of them that way. As to how many I have, well...we'll just say a lot, and leave it at that. ;)

My brother sort of unofficially collects business cards, and he has to have at least 100 unique ones.

I have lots of collections.  My favorite one is foreign money.  I have some from cool places like the Bahamas, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, Japan, and a bunch of other places.  If you live in some southern place like Arizona, I should let you know that I'm from Maine!  Of course I do the fifty state quarter collection.  I have everthing except for Missouri, Alaska, and Hawaii.  I also collect used stamps.  It's proboably the cheapest collection you can get, and it can be really cool.  I have some from New Zealand, the Dominican Republic and other cool places.  I have some triangular ones too!  My family and I sort of go on trips alot, so I have lots of trip collection.  The cheap one is flattened pennies.  I have some cool ones from all over the country, or, well, the furthest west I've ever been is the really Easternmost part of Montana.  My REALLY expensive collection is charms for my bracelet.  I have some really cute ones.  If you're looking for a really fun and cheap collection that you can do about anywhere, collect squished pennies.  I have become a pro at squishing them, and little kids look at me in awe.  You can but these things called penny passports, that you put pennies in.  They fit about thirty.  I lost mine, but I have a more that aren't in the book.  I have about 35 total.  One thing that's sort of funny, is about ten of them are from this one rest area from Maine to New Hampshire.  It's all the Vince Lombardi Rest Area.  If you have a penny from there, tell me!  I collect seashells, too, sort of.

When I said, "If you're from Arizona or someplace south..." I didn't mean to offend anybuggy. I meant that you might find Mexican money more often. I live in one of the furthest north states, besides Alaska. Also, when I said, "You can but these things called penny passports, that you put pennies in." I meant to say you can put pennies in, in but. I found my penny passport and it actually holds 36.

I collect state quarters, too!! You have a lot more than me though. I kinda collect stuffed animals and I usually always get a shirt from where I've been.

I have a rock collection with around 150 rocks and minerals.  I might want to be a geologist when I'm older.

That's cool.  I have some geods, and I have a really cool nightlight that I got in Yellowstone that's a cut geod attached to a light.  It is so pretty and lights my whole room up purple.  I have a question, though; when a geod is purple or one of the pretty colors, is that natural, or do people do something to them to change the color?

That's sort of both.  It's a chemical impurity that changes the color, but it is natural.  I have some amethyst crystals that are kind of geode looking, but I'm not sure if they are geodes or not.  My cat likes to chew them.

When I was in Boston this summer I saw a huge deposit of amethyst at the Harvard Museum of Natural History.  They were selling them in the gift shop and they were like 4 feet tall and shaped like half a giant potato.  It was really awesome.

Willa, your collection is so cool! I collect two things: Mardi Gras necklaces and foreign flags. For the Mardi Gras, I have about 150 and keep getting more from various parades and parties. I love my foreign flag collection because ALL of them except France come from the original country. My family travels a lot, and they always buy me a flag if they go out of country. Some of the ones I have are England, Brazil, Singapore, Israel, Argentina, Germany, Netherlands, Vietnam, and more!
