Chatterbox: Down to Earth

This is a...

This is a... (drumroll please) (drrrrrrrrrrrr...)

Chatterbox for the chatterbox!!! Well, more of a discussion really. We ask questions for the general chatterboxers, and talk about pretty much anything without going to different posts.

Example + first question!

Homeschool  <-- Please put a headline so if there are multiple discussions, we know which you're talking about.

#1  Are you homeschooled?  <-- Please list the numbers of the questions.

#2  If yes, how do you like it?  <-- Then put the question.

#3  Would you want to switch over to school instead?  <-- Ask as many questions as you like but don't make the question list too long.

#4  if you answered no to #1, would you want to switch over to homeschooling instead?

You could write your discussion from scratch using my example, OR you could fill out this form.

[insert subject here]

#1 [insert question]

#2 [insert question]

etc. ect. Add as many as you like!

Thanks, Violet (wishing myself across the world)

1. Yes, I am homeschooled.  I went to public school in fourth grade, though.

2. Yes, I like it, but its harder than public schooling.

3. Not really, but the parental unit demands that I must be be public schooled in high school...

What I always say to people when they ask what being homeschooled is like: it's not like you live in a cave when you're homeschooled.  You have just as many, if not more, opportunities to make friends, because your schedule is more flexible.  I think I have more friends now, being homeschooled, than when I went to public school.  Also, no, I don't get to wear pajamas to school.  No, I don't know if anyone I do know gets to. It all depends on what kind of expectations your mother/teacher has.  Not all homeschoolers are nerds/dorks. I  know plenty of people who, unless they told you, you wouldn't know that they were homeschooled. I myself know through experience that I am one of those people. I'm not saying, though, that the cliche homeschooler does not exist.  In fact, I have seen that person which could be put into that category. But I have only seen ONE of that sort of person, and have seen many, many, many of the wouldn't-suspect -a-thing-unless-they told-you-they-were-homeschooled- sort of person.
