Julio-Claudian government

Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Julio-Claudian government

Julio-Claudian government > American government

Salvete
! I am doing a school paper about differences/similarities of the
Julio-Claudian government versus our current national government .

And
, it's been hard ! I started researching today , and I haven't gotten
very far . Every site I click on says the same thing . It lists the emperor and their family tree .

So I was wondering if someone would please help me with some facts ? So if you have done a paper , or research on this , PLEASE help . This paper is due next week sometime , I think .

*Note : This IS NOT a political debate , so keep your opinions to YOURSELF .And please , this is a HIGH SCHOOL paper ( sophomore ) and if you don't have complete facts , don't bother . *

Thaanks !

I don't really know what that stuff is, but I do know information about the emperors Nero and the emperor Caesar (in Rome) but I'm not sure if it's what you are talking about. This is based on my middle school education...Don't judge :)

A few random facts:

Nero.. he failed at ruling, he cut off his first wife's head and gave it to his second wife, he murdered his family since he thought they interfered with his plans. Caesar was the one who was assassinated during the Ides of March, and he said something like "You too, Brutus?" (don't ask why I knew that). And also, I think he fixed the calendar.

I'm not sure if this is what you are talking about... So it might seem random to you.

Sorry, but I hadn't heard of Julio-Claudian government before, either. I'm a sophomore as well, but I'm taking U.S. history this year, and I took geography last year, so I don't know anything about it.

...I'm not sure I've learned any world history in school ever, now that I think about it, which actually concerns me a little. I had the option to take it this year, but not for two semesters of college credit, so I chose to take U.S. history instead.
