Day of the

Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Day of the

Day of the Doctor 50th Anniversary

I watched it. ON THE DAY. ON BBC One.

It was.. okay. After all the hooplah about Rose coming back, she wasn't really. in it . . . as I'd like. And same with David Tennant. After all the "Don't worry, folks, I'm coming back" the producers still dwelt too much on Matt Smith. Even my best friend, who is Matt Smith's biggest fan, no questions asked, was disapointed that 10 wasn't in it too much.

BUT. The BEST PART of The Day, was the Afterparty. Coming on directly after the special. I think you can't just watch something extreme as the special, and then shut the TV off, and get sucked into reality. You need time to think about it, and you need a celebration after the long-awaited episode. You need more.

For those of you, or all of you who didn't watch the Afterparty, it was AWESOME.

It was LIVE and had all the companions from classic and modern Doctor Who who are still alive at the studio. The ones who weren't there, but who sent video clips to us were: Amy, Rory, River, Jack, Martha, and even the guy who does the Ood voices. K-9 was in the studio, as well as Doctors 4, 5, 6, and 7. Who they interviewed. We got to Matt Smith LIVE ON TV with Jenna Coleman, Steven Moffat, and John Hurt. They livestreamed Louis and Niall from One Direction, and they asked the gang questions. They also livestraemed Australie, where they talked to some fans dressed up as Daleks. Live texts were coming in via Twitter, and we got to read one of Billie Piper's to the fans.

*gaps* I'm so sorry. I talked tooo much.

Thoughts? Here, you can truly gush as much as you want!
