Isn't it annoying when someone pronounces your last name wrong? Especially if you are Asian and EVERYONE thinks they can pronouce your name since they can count the letters of your name on one finger? You have to deal with "WAING" (Wang) and "ZAO" (Zhou) And you just have to go along with it? How come people can pronounce Spanish names just fine?

Y.E.S. All the time! I have a common (ish) last name but it's spelled in the Asian way, not phonetically so I get it mangled all the time! It's the worst when you forget how to say your own name the way it's culturally pronounced!
