Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Amber's Welcome Thread!!!!!!

If you're joining the Dragon RP, you may have noticed that we have a new CBer, Amber!

Since I know her in real life, I also know some fun facts about her...

Amber likes to read, write, do art, act, and spend time with her friends. She is also an accomplished writer, and has finished many other stories, ranging from 10 pages to 120! Currently, she's writing a story about people with a special blood type that makes them grow wings called Spread Your Wings. However, she's also writing some short stories! One of them includes Eight, about a young girl who takes up a painting job at a house, which won "Best Horror Story for a 7th Grader Not Enrolled in Creative Writing" in a Scary Story contest back in October at our school!

So...yeah! Please help her feel welcome!

@Scylla

1. Yes, you are famous.

2. That's cool how you used the æ symbol for AE! Now I'm wishing I had listened to Enders game. Blah.

What's Enders Game? I don't know what the symbol actually means, but it looked like AE and was on my tablet.

Enders Game is a quartet of books, which I've only read the first one, but am trying to read the rest. It's a sci-fi series. In the book they were saying

"Have you ever thought of a saying, or a phrase, and then a week or so later you hear an adult say it?"

"Yeah …"

"Well what if WE said that phrase?"

Anyways, it's really interesting. Although your parents might not let you read it.

And the æ symbol is used in several different languages, including Norwegian, Dutch, and many other Scandinavian languages.
