Chatterbox: Down to Earth

PETSI wasn't sure

PETS
I wasn't sure where to put this post, but oh well...  What type of pets does everybuggy have?  Any interesting ones?  I have a grumpy old cat named Cat, who hates to be touched, two adorable parakeets named Buddy and B.B., and I used to have two gerbils named Sprite and Pepsi.  (Pepsi was mine and Sprite was my brother's)  Oh, my piano teacher sort of lent me her beautiful canary named Mozart.  My parakeets like him.

No news that I know of, except we visited the hardware store, to see if she was there yet, but the other cat was still there.  That cat is really cute!  She looks like my friend's cat named Figgy. His real name was Newton, but who'd want to say, "Oh!  You're such a cute little boy, Newton!" Did I already tell you about him??  He is a grayish/brown and is about 3 ft. by 2 ft.  He's not fat, just SUPER poofy! He only weighs about six or seven pounds!  :)  Her other cat's name is Bubbles, and she looks and acts exactly like Alice.  I invited my friend over to see Alice, before we had to donate her, and she freaked out at first, thinking that Bubbles had ecscaped from her house. (She's my neighbor, or, well, she lives in the house behind me, but it's such a tightly packed-in neighborhood, she's really close. We have a path through the three or four trees in between our houses. It's fun! We like to hang out in our secret fort in the "woods".)  I suppose I'll have to go to the hardware store soon, to see if she's there yet...

I think this my be one of the last posts about Alice. :(  My dad and I visited the animal shelter, and the woman said that the original owner found her! :) I guess she came in, looking to buy a new cat, thinking hers had died, and some other person was there playing with Alice at the time.  The woman stood there a mintute, then burst into tears, and later told her that it was her cat!:):) She adopted her, and the woman who works there, say she lives in my neighborhood!!! :)  She said that she'd find out her house number for us, so we could go visit her!  Oh, the original owner also said that Alice is fifteen years old!!  The cute little kitten is older than my grumpy old cat!  That explains why she couldn't hear well and why she slept so much! :)  I'm so happy for her!!  I guess this won't be the last post...  I still have to go visit her!!!  I'm so happy!!!!!!!!

Hmmm...  I'm sure I already posted this yesterday, but I don't see it on here...  Hmmm...  Anyway, this is going to be one of the last posts about Alice.  Oh, wait!  First, I'm not skipping church today! I'm sick!  About Alice, though, My dad and I went to the animal shelter and she was gone. :( The woman who works there told us that she got adopted by her original owner! :) They live somewhere in our neighborhood, and, if they are who I think they are, the old man just died, and they had the funeral somewhere sort of far, so they had to leave for a while, so that is why Alice was all confused and lost looking.  Actually,  the real reason Alice was lost, was because the cute little kitten is really fifteen years old!!! :) She most likely has a really bad memory, so, she ended up getting lost and staying at my house.  Also, that explains why she couldn't hear and why she slept all day.  So other than this post, the only other one will be when we go to visit her at her own house and when we find out what her real name is... :)  (My semi-colon and colon key isn't working ((the actual key fell off! (((I would do a smiley, but I can't!))) )) so don't expect to see too many smiley faces from me anymore, or at least for a while...)

Needed more space....  This is pasted from a different thread in the This Month section.  My mom was talking to one of her friends, who was talking to one of her friends, who happens to be her owner!  I'm not sure if I told anybuggy, but there was this old couple in my neighborhood, and the old man recently died, so there has been lots of confusion going on lately.  Alice got scared, escaped, and tried to find a loving home, like the one she used to live in.  I feel bad for the old woman, though.  Could you imagine losing your husband and your cat at the same time??  I'm so glad for her that Alice is back home.  (She said she's never going to let her outside again ((of course, Alice had a microchip put in her at the animal shelter (((they let me use the scanner on her! It was just like at the grocery store!!))) so if she did escape and someone found her, she would be perfectly safe)) ).  Sorry, I don't know what her name is yet!  Wouldn't it be funny if it really was Alice?!?!??!

Yeah, that would be SO funny!:):):) It's probably going to be hard calling her something else after calling her Alice for so long!:):):) I bet the lady will let you visit her, and no matter what she does, I think that Alice HAS to go outside once in a while!:):):) It's pretty cool that you tried out her microchip. It sounds really cool!:):):) I'm glad that Alice is OK again!:):):)

I have two rather evil bunnies who bite whenever possible. I also have a golden retriever who is as big a miniature horse and can see over the top of the kitchen table. I would like some fish, but I've always had bad luck with aqautic animals, and despite having many fish and tadpoles over the years, most of them have ended up buried in my yard for some reason or other.....

I love Golden Retrievers! They're so cute! Our neighbor has one next door, and he's one of the sweetest dogs that I've ever met. He's not as big as a miniature horse, but he jumps our fence to get into our yard and swim. I think that the fence is a little over 4 feet!:):):) It's REALLY funny that your retriever can see over the kitchen table.:) He must be HUGE!!!:):):)

She is huge. :) A couple times she took our plates out from under our noses at the table, but eventually we put a stop to that.

Ha, ha, ha!!!!!:):):) That's SO funny! It reminds me of a time when our Mama cat Scooter was just a kitten, and she stole a porkchop off of my sister's plate!:) It was so funny to see a cat just a bit bigger then my hand having a porkchop bigger then her hanging out of her mouth!!!:):):) Pets are so funny!!!:):):)

Kimberly, I once went to a farm for a birthday party, and one of the cats came up and stole a hotdog right out of my friend's bun!
