What do you

What do you think of the world energy crisis? What should be done to fix it? Should any action be taken at all? Please share your thoughts.

Good question!  My family and I strongly believe that wind power is the way to go.  Maine is doing nothing to support it, but on our trip out west to Colorado and all of those states, we realized that they have windmills everywhere.  My only question is, what if we used up all the air molecules?  Then what would we do??

I don't think there is an energy crisis... yet. We need to work on wind and water power, because the supply of fossil fuels won't last forever.

Yeah, I don't think it's a crisis.  We just need to work on it.

You can't "use up all the air molecules". The sun heats the surface of the earth unevenly, causing the air that has also been heated unevenly to move and reach equilibrium, this is the wind. The wind blows through the wind turbines, turning them to create electricity, and comes out the other side.

I think that was a joke.

I couldn't be sure. Some people's other ideas around here sound a lot like that to me, too.

What's Poe's law?

Um... I think it's much better to use wind power than anything else. Even water power needs dams, and that means destroying the habitats of a lot of aquatic animals. There just seems to be something wrong with everything! But not wind power. That's good.
