Riddles! Does anyone

Riddles! Does anyone

Riddles! Does anyone have some good ones? I'm on this other site where they were telling riddles, and so I decided that we could do it on here too! Here's one:

Alice and Emily are twin sisters, but Alice is thirteen and Emily is three. How can this be?

If you need a hint, ask me because I have one!

I think I have the answer to your riddle, Lena. Is it because Alice isn't Emily's twin? And here's one of my favorites; it's a Mathcounts question, but it's good as a riddle too.

There are ten people at a party, all of different heights. No one shakes hands with anyone taller than themselves, but they shake the hands of everyone shorter than themselves. How many handshakes go on at the party?

That's pretty easy once you think about it, but your gut reaction is to do it wrong. Oh, I love that one!

That's what my dad guessed too! Good guess, and that does work, but no - Alice and Emily are sisters.

Your riddle is hard! Um... a hint, maybe?

I have one, but it more of a riddle that is supposed to be SAID.  But I'll try to make it make sense with typing.

there once was an abandoned castle.  No one was in the castle.  Not one soul.  But, one night, a queen and a king went into this castle.  The next morning the king and queen and someone else left the castle.  How is that possible?

I am sooooo sorry if this doesn't make sense.  My sister told me it a while ago and I am trying to remember it clearly.  I'll ask my sister if I did this right later.  SORRY!!

How about this: throw away the outside, cook the inside, eat the outside, throw away the inside. What is it?

I know!

Robyn, that one is easy! The queen had a baby! My turn-

Mr and Mrs Brown lived in a house with a butler and a maid. One Sunday, Mr Brown was murdered. The detectives asked all of the suspects (maid, wife, butler) what were they doing at the time of the murder. Mrs Brown was cooking dinner. The maid was dusting the living room, and the butler was checking the mail. Who was the murderer, and why?

I love this one! It's very tricky. Whomever gets it right, and can explain why, gets a pie!

Erm, was it the butler? Because there is no mail on Sunday?

Or it was all three of them because who knows why. :)

Though, I think you are right.  :D

YOU GOT IT, KENDRA!!!!!!!!!!! *gives pie* (in the face) Oops! (haha) You got the right person, and the right reason, too! Here's another one, kinda like that one.

A king and a queen lived in a round castle on the top of a hill with a butler, a maid, and a cook. One day, the king was murdered. All the suspects (queen, butler, maid, cook) were asked what they were doing at the time. The queen was doing embroidery. The butler was setting the table for dinner, the cook was preparing dinner, and the maid was resting in a corner. Who was the murderer, and why do you think that person is the murderer?

Haha it's the same kind of logic as the first one. same prize! Pies!

Oh, that one's easy! It's a round castle, so there are no corners! It's the maid! ((Jenni, what happened to the DWJ rp??? Come back!!!))

Yeah, it's easy! *pies Aliza* I'm finally back in SC!!! I'm at Nick's (F's) house, using his computer right now. He has a laptop (which is what I am using) and a desktop, and his brother also has a desktop. So it's three computers in the same room, plus their printer and tv...... haha really! I will try to get Nick on here later, guys, but right now he's working on his brand-new ceiling fan that he got yesterday and installing the light fixture that I gave him, also yesterday! The new (old collector's item actually, but for him it's "new") fan and light match PERFECTLY, and I think it's just really funny that he got both on the same day, lol! And tomorrow I will get to see Alyssa and her three younger sisters, as well! *does happy dance* hahaha! :D :D :D :D :D :D

Oh I know the answer to that, Robyn. One knight, a king and a queen went into the castle.

The king, the queen, and their baby.

Okay here is a riddle: It has food given to it.  It has food taken from it after they cook it.

I kind of made that up, but I think that you'll be able to figure out what it is.
