In the center of CB Square, two AEs sit side by side on a bench.
One of them is slumped over the railing, supported only by his hand. A gray dog ear sprouts from his head, flopping over his sleeping face. The other is sat bolt-upright on the bench, his polished black shoe tapping on the street as he looks out across CB Square, a slight scowl on his face. He waits a moment as the other AE snores quietly, then bursts out suddenly.
"Look at that!" he snaps, gesturing to the other AEs as they romp around.
"Huh? Whuzzat?" his brother snorts, jerking up with eyes still half-closed in sleep. He turns to the other AE, whose dark violet eyes are slitted in annoyance.
"All those... other AEs!"
His brother smiles in hesitant disbelief, not quite understanding what he's hearing. "...you gotta problem with them?" The purple AE shakes his head as if he's astounded by his brother's idiocy.
"Argh, no, but... I mean, there's just so many of them! With this new influx of CBers--"
"--influx, nice word," the dog-eared AE adds in.
"--I can't keep track of them all! And let's be real, 8, we haven't exactly been the best with meeting every AE that pops into existence. I really do need to know what some of them are up to." The other AE scratches his head, admitting the truth. "So you know what I have decided?"
"What is it, Mew?" 8-Piece asks, rolling his eyes. MewFour paused for a moment, building up the dramatic tension.
"We," he said. "Are holding an AE RP."
"Another?" 8-Piece groans, shifting his position on the bench. "Isn't there, like, one on Inkwell already?"
"Perhaps there's anoher school; I didn't see," MewFour said, waving the comment off. "What I mean," he grinned, turning to face 8-Piece. "Is that we hold an RP of the best kind. The most interesting kind. And we hold it at a manor."
"Eww--"
"That's by the sea."
8-Piece pauses for a moment, thinking. "...I'm listening. What are we doing there, though?"
"Oh, you know, the usual," MewFour says. "Socializing, eating, allowing those other AEs to get up to shenanigans, turning the eye to the haunted and venegful souls that roam the hallway and may cause a plot centerpiece sooner or later--I got a great deal for the mansion, really. And displaying that extraordinary library that came with it!"
"*Showing Quill, *alone," 8-Piece coughs. MewFour glares at him for a second, his cheeks coloring slightly, before moving on. "And guess what? I am the host! I will run it all. Anything the AEs want to do, any questions they have, will all be directed back to me. Telekinesis can come in so handy, don't you know." MewFour snapped his fingers. The next second, two violet-glowing hands appeared, appearing to made out of pure light. "Anytime an AE desires something, they simply need to shake a hand--I can create many, many more--and with my aid, they will fetch it."
"And what do I do?" 8-Piece asked, catching onto the idea.
"You," MewFour said, clearly enjoying the anticipation. "Will cook! You can bake and confectionize, and organized and assort anything you like." 8-Piece's eyes glowed, and he leapt off the bench, hopping from one foot to the other.
"Oh, oh, and here--" One of the hands darted away and returned with a pen and paper, and MewFour hastily scribbled something down on a sheet, then handed it to 8-Piece.
"Name, Age, Appearance, Personality, Crushes or relationships, and CBer," 8-Piece murmured, reading out the sheet. "Sounds good to me! And ah, let's call it... 8-Piece and MewFour's Really Cool Ocean Manor Trip RP!"
MewFour winced slightly. "Or just: AE Masion RP."
"That works too," 8-Piece said, shrugging. "Well, come on! Let's go!" MewFour stared after his brother as he dashed into the CB Square, already attracting a crowd of curious AEs. He sighed, a rare smiling gracing his face, then followed close behind.

This sounds wonderful! Socialising isn't really my thing, but Chary is encouraging me to make some friends. She says that being stuck in an oceanside cave with her and Scylla isn't good for me and I need to get out and about. So this is the perfect opportunity!
Name: Eo-Lahallia, but you can call me Hallia. Everyone does!
Age: Young
Appearance: I'm a shape-shifter, so I can take any form I like. I never transform into a human (imagine that--a human me?!) or a dragon. I'm usually a fallow fawn, but sometimes a songbird.
Personality: Hallia is sweet, kind, loyal, and adorable. She's normally very shy and quiet, but recently has proven to us that she's capable of socialisation. She's very devoted to us (Me and Charybdis, my very antisocial other AE) and is too innocent to know what the word 'betrayal' means.
Crushes or relationships: She used to date Wingnut, Aquina's CAPTCHA, but he went missing and she hasn't been able to reach him. I can tell she's hiding depression, but she tries to be optimistic for my sake. I hope she'll be able to get over it and that someone can cheer her up... because Glaux knows that Chary and I can't.

After much 'discussion' and 'encouragement,' Hallia convinced me to join her at the upcoming event. And so, with much reluctance, I fill out the following form.
Name: Charybdis
Age: I've been alive for a while.. since before organised human civilisation. Hey Scylla! How old am I? .... No clue. Sorry. Oh. Okay.
Appearance: A whirlpool of dark turquoise-blue water, about 6' tall. When angry, sharp white teeth/claws flash out of the water and it whirls faster. A small trail of water is left behind wherever travelled. The colour of the water can also be used to determine mood. We suspect that the whirlpool is actually a mask for Charybdis's real appearance. She refuses to confirm or deny it.
Personality: Charybdis is gruff and surly, seeming unfriendly. She is very fierce and independent, but has a soft spot for Hallia. She's also well-spoken and somewhat sardonic. She is never at a loss for words on those rare occasions where she chooses to talk to people.

Personality: Um... disagrees with me. A lot. He is actually kinda shy and gets very flushed when embarrassed, which embarrasses him even more. He is fairly sensible, can be quiet when he doesn't know people. He likes being part of the group, but not usually the center of attention.

Age: Ageless with the mentality of a six-year-old. (HEY! I SHOULD BE AT LEAST SEVEN!)
Appearance: Long, straight, purple hair, usually back in a ponytail. Equally purple eyes. Usually wears a black hoodie and ripped jeans messily colored with blue marker (THEY'RE CALLED BLUE JEANS! HEARD OF THEM?). Pale skin, pretty tall with broad shoulders, athletic build.
Personality: Insane is his facade-- but then again, that's the only part you see of him, so I could just end it there. He's stubborn, rebellious, a little dim at times (I AM NOT!) and has the greatest goal of all time: to annoy Feather. He's rather sensitive and lashes out quickly (also known as a temper).
Crushes/Relationships: He'll deny all of it, but he has a crush on Volcano and another on Puck. He's not dating anyone. Good friends with MP. Hates Evil Devin with all his heart and soul (HE STOLE MY NICKNAME!!).

Personality: Intelligent but sassy. Feather has a sarcastic streak and a short, cold temper. She loves anything that Dev hates. Has an extra-large addiction to grammar, although she falls short on spelling (your fault, not mine). Slightly perky if you don't set her off.

Oo! Sounds like fun! I haven't done any AE stuff in a while. I also don't know any of your guys' AEs, so it'll give me some info on what's up and runnin' round here.

No, mine first! Here I go:
Name: Zeon
Age: #AGELESS bro!
Appearance: Uhh green hair shaved on one side and short on the other, but with bangs that hang partially cut over my eyes. Slanted, not straight. I am slightly tan for being at the beach so much, pointed ears, large, wide, cyan eyes, green, thick, cut eyebrows, pointed face, black permanent marker marks above and below my eyes (NOT a tattoo). I once wore a shark necklace, but I gave that to my love, Arwen. Now I own a new necklace of a matching shark tooth we found together on a black cord, similar to my original one. And I wear dark blue jeans and a blue drawstring hoodie. I also have bat-like wings and a constant grin.
Personality: Awesome, go-with-the-flow, with the mix of a surfer and gamer personality. I am friendly and outgoing to everyone I meet, call my bros my... well... bros, and keep a close group of constant friends.

Appearance: I have light, long brown hair; slightly tan skin, but lighter than Zeon's; wide, dark blue eyes; half my bangs kept behind my ear, the other hanging loose to the side; human ears compared to Zeon; large, blue, feathered wings with black edges; a beaded necklace with simple white beads on a black cord; and a black wrap-like shirt with brown overlay. The black wraps around my arms slightly above the elbows and goes down above the wrists. Then either blue jeans or a black, knee-length skirt.
Personality: Quiet, smart, usually keep to myself, friendly once you get to know me, only keeps a close group of friends, trustworthy, occasionally sarcastic, enjoys civilized discussions, easily annoyed by loud AEs, and loves proper activities such as grammar, reading, and writing.

AE stands for Alter Ego (literal translation from the Latin is "other I"). On Chatterbox it's an character you create to show another side of your personality.
