Chatterbox: Down to Earth

The Thrill of the Chase

Has anyone else heard of this?

The basic story goes, a very rich man named Forrest Fenn was diagnosed with terminal cancer. He was sure that he was going to die, so he took a chest, filled it with treasure, and hid it in the woods somewhere in the Rocky Mountains.  He left a poem behind giving clues as to where to find the treasure after he died, and to this day, no one has found it, though many have claimed to.

But here's the best part.

Forrest Finn survived, and lives to this day.

And the treasure is still out there.

One of my friends and I have been searching for the treasure of Forrest Fenn by antylizing his poem, and we found his email. So we emailed him.

AND HE EMAILED US BACK!!!!!

So this is for anyone who has heard/searched/knows-about-and-wants-to-search-for the treasure of Forrest Fenn!

Where do you think it's hidden?

That's so cool! I've never heard of it but it sounds awesome. I just looked up the poem, but I'm definitely too far away from where it's buried.
