Has anybuggy out

Has anybuggy out there ever done Locks of Love before? Got any advice? I'm doing it for the first time and am slightly nervous about groing my hair out and then cutting it all off. :)(:

I've never done it, but I am going to!  My hair is already around eleven inches.  Eight is the minimum, I think...  You don't have to be nervous about it!  You're going to be donating your hair to someone!  It should make you feel good!  My hair grows fast, so I don't worry about that, but I don't know about yours.  If it makes you feel any better, my friend's dad grew his hair out really long (he kept it in a ponytail!) and donated to Locks of Love!  My friends and I still laugh about it (she doesn't as much!).  Does anybuggy else have really sensitive eyes?  Whenever I go to the hair salon (or even think about it, such as right now) my eyes start watering and tearing up like crazy!  I have to bring a soft blanket that looks like a baby blanket, to keep my eyes from practically falling out!  Sometimes, people waiting in line will come over to me and say, "Oh, what's wrong, you poor little girl?  You don't need to cry!"  The hair styler will start laughing, and I can't talk, because I'm too busy drying up my eyes.  It's so annoying...  The eye doctor says eventually my eyes will dry up like a desert...  That could be worse...

Thanks...I'm not really nervous anymore :) I have only 5 more inches to go--my hair will be about shoulder length once I cut it, I think. I hope your eyes stop tearing so much soon (:

Locks of Love!  I would like to do that.  It sounds so cool!  I'm not sure if it's available in Canada, though...

I just Googled Locks of Love and it says that they do it in Canada, too!

I would LOVE to do Locks of Love!:):):) I'm planning to, but my hair doesn't grow ultra fast, so it's long but not long enough.:):):) One of my friends does it more then once every year,(her hair grows SO fast!:):):)), and it makes me want to do it even more!:):):) It would be so amazing!:):):) I don't want my hair TOO short though.:):):) Sorry about your eyes, Paige. It must be really horrible in public places like that!:( I hope that they get better soon!:):):) Oh, and, Brynne, if you grow your hair long enough, you don't have to chop all of your hair off!:) I know how you feel--I really like my hair!:):):)

I did locks of love. Short hair actually looks better on some people than long hair, so don't feel nervous! I think it's a really great organization. Good Luck!

I've done Locks of Love 2 times. I thought your hair had to be 10 inches?

That's what I thought, too, but in case I was wrong I hadn't mentioned it.
