Oookay, Survey!

1. What age group/s do you get along best with? (i. e. little kids, agemates, older teens, adults) Why?

Umm, definitely younger kids in the 13-14 age group, and a couple friends who have their Birthdays shortly after mine, so they're only a few months younger (so 14-15). I have a few 16 year old aquaintances, but none who I can really call close friends.  I don't exactly know why. I think kids that are a lot older than me and even kids my age make me a little nervous, like I can't even relate to them, and I have a lot of energy like a slightly younger kid.

2. Are you different online than in person?

I say things less awkwardly :):);):)

3. When do you feel awkward? Or do you?

Ummmm...a lot of times. Mostly when I don't know what to say, and then I say something totally random to make up for it. I also trip and fall a lot, because I'm a total klutz.

4. What made you laugh most recently? Do you laugh easily?

Most recently? I suggested that my family play a game of telephone at the table, and, after much fighting, it actually happened. My parents joined in, and just the very thought of my parents playing telephone with us, which has always been kind of our just kids game, was funny. And when it was my mom's turn to play, she whispered, "responsible children help their mothers clean up the kitchen," but it came out, "responsible children clean up their mothers." That was really funny too. And yes, I laugh easily. My brothers sometimes make fun of how easily I laugh by mocking my "girly" laugh and saying, "oh, you are so cheesy and childish." Which is hiliarious, because I'm the oldest in my family.

5. Do you cry easily? Does it take you a long time to stop crying?

No, because I always feel like I've let someone down when I cry, so I usually only cry in private, in my room, where I can talk to God and figure things out and maybe talk into my pillow for a bit. And yes, when I start crying, it's hard for me to stop.

6. Describe some of your favorite people to be around, outside of your immediate family. What makes them that way?

My favorite people to be around? Well, that would be my friends and cousins, of course. I have different groups of friends. My two closest friends + closest cousin are all very different, but I can totally be myself around them.

One of them I hardly ever get to see, since we live in different states, but we email each other all the time. She likes music, and she is a TOTAL GENIOUS. She loves science and math. She also likes Hamilton, and all sorts of books and tv shows that I love too. Once, we Hobbited our parents by asking them "when's breakfast?" Right after we ate it, and then proceeding to ask for second breakfasts and elevensies! We are so different, but we just bounce off each other. We reccommend books, movies, and tv shows to each other because we understand and respect each other's tastes. I've also known her since I was 2, so we have been inseperable friends for 13 years now. We know each other so well that it's absolutely impossible for judgement or misunderstanding to enter a situation. I feel like I can come to her when I'm worn out and need encouraging, and when I am really happy and want to overflow my joy. So, what makes this friend fun to be around? The fact that we share. We share our favorite things. We share when we feel like we failed, and we share when we are so happy, and we encourage one another and make each other stronger.

Another of my closest friends I have known for 3 years now. If you looked at us, you would probably see total opposites. She is a fashionista, beautiful artist, brilliant student. She is graceful and social and mature. She writes emotional, flowy things. Me? *snort* I'm a crazy, messy writer who is awkward and klutzy and I write raw, random poetry and am so immature. But, we're also the crazy duo who ran around Barnes and Noble one late night kissing the covers of our favorite books. I really like being around her because she is so cheerful and brighter than the sun. We can talk about books together, and be absolutely crazy, like the time we wrote letters from Alucard Emery and Draco Malfoy and pledged to leave them in random places around the mall. And we love books. So, so much.

And also, I love my cousins. Particularly, the cousin closest to my age. She is very, very creative and loves to weave her whole life within beautiful books (and movies...like maybe Star Wars). When we're together, we can just talk and say whatever pops into our imaginations. Like, once I accidentally mixed two songs together in my head, and I told her, so we ended up singing the whole crazy remix. I like being around her because we understand each other's imaginations. Sometimes, it's almost like we know what the other person is thinking.

And finally, the other people I LOVE to be around with are my homeschool resource center crowd. I thought I wouldn't fit in with the other highschoolers when I moved up, but was I wrong! They all accepted my clumsy, spastic, energy-filled, fangirling ways and were totally chill with it. I particularly love one time, when I was wearing these heals, I skipped over to the group, and proceeded to trip on thin air and fall into someome else's chair (thankfully, it was unocupied, but I've done the same thing when a chair wasn't) in front of everone else in my class. They just laughed and said, "you all right Abigail?" And I answered, "yes. Dashboard these heels," and they just laughed about it in a wonderful "that was silly, but not awkward" non-judgemental way.

Okay, I know no one read all that :) But it felt good to be able to give all those amazing people some recognition! There are so many other awesome people in my life too, these are just a few!

7. What makes you unique?

The fact that I love poetry more than anything else in this world, the fact that I have Christian beliefs (like predistination) that define my path and change my worldview, and that I am talkative and spastic and all that! Also, I'm apparently inspiring (?) and I apparently make people feel welcome (?) that's what some of my friends say, not quite sure about that. Also, I live on a farm. And have goats. And I want to be the next Mary Oliver.

8. Are you shy around strangers? What about people who you know, but find impressive in some way?

Kind of, but working in agritourism has taught me a lot about being polite and getting up the courage to talk and be friendly with strangers.

Also, I often get nervous when talking to people I find impressive or want to impress. I try to say the things that I think will make them happy, which isn't exactly right thinking.

9. What are some interesting or unusual hobbies or habits you have encountered?

Encountered? Or embody? Ummm, not quite sure.

I'll have to finish this survey later! I really need to work on my Nano novel.

1. What age group/s do you get along best with? (i. e. little kids, agemates, older teens, adults) Why?

Usually I get along with people my age, but I have some friends that are older/younger than me: My 10yo cousin, my 15yo cousin, my 15yo friends

2. Are you different online than in person?

No, the same insecure creative girl is behind the screen.

3. When do you feel awkward? Or do you?

When I'm with people that I don't know.  It just makes me feel really weird, because we have nothing to talk about and I don't know them.

4. What made you laugh most recently? Do you laugh easily?

Usually I do.  The thing that most recently made me laugh was when my friend from the ranch (Where I do manual labor) took a selfie with food in her mouth and I photoshopped in a speech bubble with "I'm eating food" inside it.

5. Do you cry easily? Does it take you a long time to stop crying?

Yes.  For both.

6. Describe some of your favorite people to be around, outside of your immediate family. What makes them that way?

My friends from choir.  They really understand my weird humor and are there for me if something difficult has happened in my personal life.

7. What makes you unique?

I have a variety of experience.  I've done soccer, I'm a year-round swimmer, I play the piano, I sing, I've done dance, and I'm an artist.  It's also hard to say one thing, my weird humor is also something that no one else truly has.

8. Are you shy around strangers? What about people who you know, but find impressive in some way?

I'm shy around people who I don't know, and are in awe of.  I can be totally cool with someone I know that I look up to, like my friend D, who is an AMAZING artist.

9. What are some interesting or unusual hobbies or habits you have encountered?

My friend reads bad Kpop fanfiction, and my friend's sister has a habit of asking me literally every question, even if she already knows the answer.

10. What qualities are you most envious of in other people?

Confidence and modesty.

11. Who's a character in a book that you really relate to? Who is one that you really admire?

I can relate to Sienna from Listening for Lucca by Suzanne Lafleur.  I also admire all the demigods from the Percy Jackson series -- especially Annabeth!

12. What was your most recent dream that you remember? Do you ever have nightmares or recurring dreams?

The most recent dream I had was when I -- I can't remember...  But I do have recurring nightmares.  Combo.

13. Do you ever get those weird deja-vu moments? What is one that you can remember?

Sometimes, but usually it can be explained.  Once, I was in a mall, and I passed a food court I remember being in once.  Turned out we had gone to that same mall when I was like 3.

1. What age group/s do you get along best with? (i. e. little kids, agemates, older teens, adults) Why?

I get along with people of all ages, mostly because I've gone to a K-8 school that is really tiny and multiage, so I've been in the same class as people who are two years older than me and two years younger. I'd say most of my close friends are either my age (13), 12, or 11.

2. Are you different online than in person?

I think? I probably seem cooler irl than I do online.

3. When do you feel awkward? Or do you?

Sometimes. A lot of my friends are really talkative, so I barely ever have to deal with awkward silences. Although, pretty much everyone in my family is a teacher (mom, dad, grandpa on mom's side, grandma on mom's side, grandma on dad's side, aunt, etc...) so I have to deal with the "OMG, I knew you when you were a baby/the last time I saw you you were this tall!" way more than usual! Which is super awkward!

4. What made you laugh most recently? Do you laugh easily?

The last thing that made me laugh was most likely my sister. She makes the stupidest and most funny faces you have ever seen. It's funny because she's so pretty and at the same time is the least photogenic person you have ever seen, it's like in every picture she is somehow making a really weird face. And yes, I laugh really easily.

5. Do you cry easily? Does it take you a long time to stop crying?

It depends. Usually when I cry it's because of hormones (fun stuff...) but I can usually either hold it in or stop crying fairly quickly.

6. Describe some of your favorite people to be around, outside of your immediate family. What makes them that way?

My group of friends that I hang out with the most is made up of L- spunky 13 year old who likes to wear her leather jacket and choker everywhere she can, writes movie scripts/awesome short stories and despite being four days younger than me is also almost a foot shorter; O- talkative boy who is really into competitive climbing, playing the guitar, and legos; A- literally every word that comes out of his mouth is either about Minecraft, the Titanic, the "Infected" (zombies), or a weird/gross fact; K- an all-around adorable person who like anime and kawaii things and wears her hair in space buns; J- the sarcastic girl who plays basketball and runs cross country and spends class period doodling on post-it notes; G- a sassy gymnast who will beat you up and has 5 younger brothers; and N: a boy who will gladly talk about cats for a whole lunch period. Nuff' said.

I also have another group of friends, "the girls", who I see more in class and stuff. There's K- the loud one who may or may not have a murderous sense of humor and 'hugs' (or attacks) me when I least expect it; S- the most relatable friend I have who I will tell all my secrets to and rant with; and P- A girl who is really really quiet until you get to know her.

7. What makes you unique?

The fact that I have a lot of different hobbies/qualities that don't seem like they would go together. For example, I love playing sports and I also love writing poetry. I love to paint my nails and wear skirts but I also have a detailed plan for what I'd do in the zombie apocalypse (mostly thanks to the nerds I hang out with :)

8. Are you shy around strangers? What about people who you know, but find impressive in some way?

Yes, unfortunately. I can usually be a little shy but I'm good at pretending like I know how to small talk *insert sad introvert laugh*

9. What are some interesting or unusual hobbies or habits you have encountered?

Well, my several of my friends are currently obsessed with anime... a few of my friends put ketchup on their mac and cheese, and since someone who works at the school where I go to get on the bus now drives a VW beetle, it's now my friend and I's habit to be the first to punch each other every morning XD

10. What qualities are you most envious of in other people?

The ability to be honest and still nice at the same time.

12. What was your most recent dream that you remember? Do you ever have nightmares or recurring dreams?

My most recent dream was that my friend was leaning over the side of a giant dam (to show off, I guess? It honestly seemed pretty realistic because I've witnessed him walk the whole way across a bridge railing twice) and fell over the side. I don't know if that counts as a nightmare or not...

13. Do you ever get those weird deja-vu moments? What is one that you can remember?

Yes! There is this pawn shop that I've never been inside in my life that I've had a dream about going inside. I should go in there someday to see if my dream was anything like the real thing, because if it was, that would be weird O.O

1. What age group/s do you get along best with? (i. e. little kids, agemates, older teens, adults) Why?

People around my age, I guess? I'm not great with little kids, adults + high school people make me nervous, so people my age. I'm pretty awkward around people I don't know well.

2. Are you different online than in person?

Online, I'm more fluent and... well spoken, I guess? IRL, my words seem kind of out of place, and sometimes I stutter. And I'm less shy on here.

3. When do you feel awkward? Or do you?

Around new people, in front of a crowd, when alone with a teacher/adult, before going over to friend's house and before a big event. Looking over this list, I feel very shy and pathetic.

4. What made you laugh most recently? Do you laugh easily?

I'm the most serious out of my friends in 8th grade, and I don't laugh as easily as them. But I still laugh a lot. The last thing I really, eally laughed at was when my friends Blue Smoke (her CB name) and another friend thought I said "Tonsil scones."

5. Do you cry easily? Does it take you a long time to stop crying?

I'm okay at keeping my feelings bottled up, but once every few weeks I just start to... implode, I guess? When I start crying, half the time it takes me a while to stop.

6. Describe some of your favorite people to be around, outside of your immediate family. What makes them that way?

Well, my friends, and my little cousin Sophie, who is lots of fun to be around.

7. What makes you unique?

My personality, my qualities, my memories... basically everything that makes me me!

8. Are you shy around strangers? What about people who you know, but find impressive in some way?

As mentioned above, I am very shy around strangers. As for people I know and admire, sometimes.

9. What are some interesting or unusual hobbies or habits you have encountered?

I can't think of any at the moment.

10. What qualities are you most envious of in other people?

The ability to talk to others without wishing you were a turtle so you could curl up and hide forever, being creative, intelligence.

11. Who's a character in a book that you really relate to? Who is one that you really admire?

Again, can't think of anybody at the moment. Stupid brain.

12. What was your most recent dream that you remember? Do you ever have nightmares or recurring dreams?

I almost never remember my dreams...

13. Do you ever get those weird deja-vu moments? What is one that you can remember?

Yep! I can't really remember any.

1. What age groups do you get along best with? Why?

Little kids, definitely. They're just so honest and energetic, not to menion adorable and sweet.

2. Are you different online than in person?

Cricket is really the only online thing I do, but not really. I don't really write with others much in real life, though. But I like it.

3. When do you feel awkward? Or do you?

ALWAYS. I started geeking out about cubic zirconium in front of a grocery store one time, and everyone was staring at me. Dozens of times I'll start singing at lunch and not realize how loud I'm singing until my friends say, "Uh, Abby, you can stop singing".

4. What made you laugh most recently? Do you laugh easily?

In choir, my teacher said something really strange and funny, then said he'd deny he ever said it if anyone asks. The funny part was, it was so weird and out of the blue, no one would ever think to ask about it.

5. Do you cry easily? Does it take you a long time to stop crying?

I don't cry easily, but when I do, it takes a while to stop.

6. Describe some of your favorite people to be around, outside of your immediate family. What makes them that way?

My best friend and I have been friends since we were three, which is funny, because when we first met, we were terrified of each other. I remember very clearly hiding behind my mom, and her doing the same thing.

7. What makes you unique?

I'm kind of old fashioned, I like old books and movies (anyone seen Meet Me in St. Louis? Judy Garland?), I don't listen to "modern", I guess, music (preffering broadway), I love love love the smell of old books, and I still have about 60+ stuffed animals.

8. Are you shy around strangers? What about people you know, but find impressive in some way?

I'm pretty much shy around everyone except my friends.

9. What are some interesting or unusual hobbies or habits you have encountered?

Well, I collect pencil tips, my little sister collects Nerds (the candy), and one of my friends made a hobby out of seeing how fast she could drink the little school milk bottles (she got to about five bottles in two seconds).

10. What qualities are you most envious of in other people?

The ability to talk non-awkwardly and make friends quickly.

11. Who's a character in a book that you really relate to? Who's one that you really admire?

I can't really think of any I connect with at the moment, but there are quite a few, and I admire Harry Potter's bravery.

12. What was your most recent dream you remember? Do you ever have nightmares or reoccurring dreams?

Last night I had a really odd dream, and I don't remember most of it, but I was at a magical school dance, my friend was dating Percy Jackson, Dumbledore showed up and sent everyone home, and then my car broke down. I do have reoccurring dreams, and I have nightmares a lot. I've never had a happy-sparkly-unicorn-hey-look-I-can-fly dream. The only dream that had a unicorn in it, I was running from a witch and a purple sparkly unicorn flushed me down a toilet, and the only dream in which I could fly, I was running from evil vampires.

13. Do you ever get those weird deja-vu moments? What is one you can remember?

YES! Mostly just random things, but I remember having deja-vu when I was little about eating a grape.

Yes. I'm  not shy, and i make friends way, way, easier.

3. When do you feel awkard Or do you?

4. What made you laugh most recently?  Do you laugh easily?

5.  Dose it take you a long time to stop crying?

No.

6. Describe some of your favorite people to be around, outside of your immedate family. What makes them that way.

Hrm... Im comfortable with kids near my age, but I'm also very comfortable with people above 15. Like 20 yr-olds to 30 yr-olds.

4. What made you laugh most recently? Do you laugh easily?

1. What age group/s do you get along best with? (i. e. little kids, agemates, older teens, adults) Why? I get along best with little kids and people younger than I am. I'm more expirienced with mimicking their behavior. Which sounds weird, but I am a type of person I describe as a mimic; interacting doesn't come naturally to me, so I have to watch what the other humans do and try to copy it until it becomes easy. Then I'm ok for a few years until my peers' behavior changes and I have to learn new behavior.

2. Are you different online than in person? No. I'm just more likely to say what I'm thinking online because I can edit and change it. Words sound better coming from my hand than from my lips.

3. When do you feel awkward? Or do you? When I'm not sure what to expect from a new social situation, or when I'm ill prepared to deal with it.

4. What made you laugh most recently? Do you laugh easily? I laugh very easily! I think the thing that made me laugh most recently was my brother taking weird videos of himself on my phone and sending them to people I hardly know.

5. Do you cry easily? Does it take you a long time to stop crying? I don't cry easily and can prevent myself from crying, but once I start I have a lot of difficulty stopping.

6. Describe some of your favorite people to be around, outside of your immediate family. What makes them that way? My best friend Samantha. She just... gets me, I think. I'm not worried around her, I don't have to mimic anything. I can just say what I think and I know she's going to pay attention and tell me her thoughts. I trust her. My friend Emily, who I've known for a very long time and feel very big-sisterly towards. She's really funny and sweet, yet wise. Wiser than she knows. Most of my team mates because I know they depend on me as a friend and a 'sister', and because they trust me, tease me, and love me. We're a family.

7. What makes you unique? I'm very interested in the world, the how and the why of everything. I'm creative and very imaginative. I'm down for pretty much anything that comes my way and I do not give up.

8. Are you shy around strangers? What about people who you know, but find impressive in some way? I am very shy around strangers! People who impress me? It's basically the same amount of shyness. Most of the people I find impressive are those who I know closely, or are famous.

9. What are some interesting or unusual hobbies or habits you have encountered? I don't really understand this question? Do you mean about me or about other people?

10. What qualities are you most envious of in other people? When people know exactly what they're passionate about and what they are going to do about it. And when people fit in seemingly effortlessly.

11. Who's a character in a book that you really relate to? Who is one that you really admire? I really relate to Luna Lovegood. She's an idealist, like me, and doesn't fit the mold, but she doesn't ever let that stop her. She's also an artist and believes in searching for knowledge. I really admire Lyra Belaqua (from The Golden Compass) and Alanna of Trebond (from The Song of the Lioness). Both are very strong, innovative, and passionate people who don't give up and are willing to take risks to accomplish what they believe in.

12. What was your most recent dream that you remember? Do you ever have nightmares or recurring dreams? Oh, goodness... let's NOT talk about the most recent one. How about my cardboard zombie one? That one's cool. Basically I was being chased around by a purple cardboard zombie and had to take it on a car chase. No, I've never had a recurring dream but I have had several nightmares.

13. Do you ever get those weird deja-vu moments? What is one that you can remember? Generally not.

submitted by Cockleburr
(November 12, 2017 - 4:54 pm)

1. I mostly get along with kids my own age, i.e. agemates, because older people make me feel all awkward (a few cousin exceptions, and if they're only a year or two ahead then I'm fine), and I like younger kids and all, but they also make me a little nervous. They (the littlest ones) all look up to me but I can't even remember their names!

2. Hmmm... maybe a little. I take charge more, share my art, and hide my writing irl. But online, I have that sort of anonymity, and so I share my writing (but hide my art), and don't take charge as much because it might seem rude without face-to-face contact.

3. Yes. I absolutely feel awkward. When I'm talking to people that aren't my age or gender I feel all awkward, but I usually just push through it. There's this one guy, though, that flirts with everyone, but me most of all. (No, he doesn't like me, but I don't want to say why because some people are not comfortable with my explanation.) He always flirts with me, saying flirtatious things or putting a hand on my shoulder or something. I'm just super awkward around him. (Wouldn't anyone be? But most people aren't... but he does flirt more with me.) Other than him, though, I'm not super awkward. I've grown out of it since sixth grade, which i am very happy about! I'm quite comfortable in my own skin now. :)

4. Let's see... I laughed because I was being tickled by my sister (Poetic Panda), both literally and figuratively. My mom was trying to sleep, but we had climbed onto her bed and Poetic Panda was tickling me. I'm actually not ticklish, but it was the anticipation that got to me. Do I laugh easily? No. Not at all.

5. Do I cry easily? Also no, not at all. I keep all my emotions locked up inside until one of two things happens. One of those things is someone insults my friends. NOBODY gets away with that. The other thing is when I explode. I joke that I'm a volcano goddess, because I'll be all calm and friendly until one day I just get so angry that I explode on everyone near me, whether they are my friends or a random passer-by. Somthing that my friends do for fun, like stealing my seat, may be okay one day and the next day I'm exploding over it. Being a volcano goddess may not be a good thing to be, but I've learned how to not take it out on other people because it's not their fault. (Gosh, this makes me sound like a monster! I promise I'm a really nice person!)

6. My favorite people to be around are my friends. They're confident and comfortable in their own skin. They're different, like me, and they're okay with that.

7. I play two instruments well and two others decently, I love Star Trek, and I'm not afraid to be myself. I'm a strong leader, but I know I'm not good at everything, and I also know it's okay to ask questions. I will sometimes think stuff in my head and blurt the answer out loud. I had a mind palace waaay before I ever saw Sherlock. I love dragons, and books, and cats, and books, and so many books I can't fit them all in my room. My friends have started asking me every day what my "book of the day" is-- I finish one every day and they know I will always have a new one. I randomly break into accents sometimes-- Southern or British or something spewed from the depths of my mind. I narrate my life in my head. I'm writing a book. I have eyes that look like melted ice. I can hear a beat in a song and start conducting perfectly, without even knowing the song. I can sing a song I sang many years ago, and still remember all the words. But most of all, I am ME. Starseeker. No-one else. With all my British quirks and flaws, varied heritage, and everything else, the thing that makes me unique is that I am myself, and okay with it.

8. You just described me. :) Well, maybe not quite. I'm not exactly shy-- more like icy. I clam up. I'm working past that, though, forcing myself past that to go talk to people who are alone, or who just moved here.

9. Well, I sorta named a lot in the 'unique' answer, but I'll name some physical quirks. I have double jointed fingers and I'm constantly stretching them (because it feels good) and it weirds people out. I can wiggle my ears. I have horrible vision and even worse aim, but I still manage to have a powerful throwing arm. And I'm unusually accepting of people. Most of my friends have admitted that they have different sexualities than the norm (just going to leave it at that) and I don't care. They are still my friends, still the same people I know and care for.

10. Gosh, loudness. I'm a good leader but I'm not loud enough sometimes. Also, a musical voice. Just having a beautiful accent when you talk. I had to go through speech classes just to be understood when I said certain words.

11. Not sure if anyone knows who this is, but Creelisel Carlbrun. She's the star of the Dragon Slippers series, and she is so real. She thinks about the world around her in a beautiful way and she isn't perfect or beautiful. I love that about her. And, she refuses to be cowed by authority.

12. My most recent dream I can remember? I don't know which is most recent. I know what I dream every night, but I can hardly remember what I dreamed when. I'll just name a few. There was this one where my mom refused to start the car so we could get away during a werewolf apocalypse until I buckled my seatbelt. There was also a time where the humans and the animals were preparing for war but I stopped them with the power of song. Most of my dreams, I can only remember a feeling: being chased, being hunted, running. I have nightmares, kind of a lot, but they're almost every night so I'm kinda used to them. And they're not really nightmares, but running from someone or protecting someone while running. Recurring dreams? All the time.

13. I usually only get deja-vu with smell. Like I was eating a lemon granola bar the other day, and even though I hated it, I ate the whole thing because it reminded me of something else.

1. What age group/s do you get along best with? (i. e. little kids, agemates, older teens, adults) Why?

Younger kids, like kindergarteners or first graders, because I don't feel akward around them and they look up to me.

2. Are you different online than in person?

Yes. I'm less... funny? And more creative

3. When do you feel awkward? Or do you?

Yes, when I'm with basically anyone I don't know well

4. What made you laugh most recently? Do you laugh easily?

I laugh very easily. Most recently was when I was talking to my friend. I don't remember what we were talking about.

5. Do you cry easily? Does it take you a long time to stop crying?

Yes and yes

6. Describe some of your favorite people to be around, outside of your immediate family. What makes them that way?

My friends because they are funny and I can talk to them about useless things and feel happy. Also, the kindergarteners I help out with at Hebrew school because they're so cute, and like I said before, I don't feel akward around them and they look up to me.

7. What makes you unique?

I don't really know.

8. Are you shy around strangers? What about people who you know, but find impressive in some way?

I am shy around strangers, but not people I know.

9. What are some interesting or unusual hobbies or habits you have encountered?

I can't think of anything right now.

10. What qualities are you most envious of in other people?

Being able to contain and not show emotions.

11. Who's a character in a book that you really relate to? Who is one that you really admire?

1. What age group/s do you get along best with? (i. e. little kids, agemates, older teens, adults) Why?

Depends on my mood. Typically with people a bit younger than me because they're less judgmental than my immediate peers. But I also get along with my peers real well when we just hang out and talk.

2. Are you different online than in person?

For the most part I'm just more subdued in real life. Online I will 100% deck you but if you aggravate me in person it'll depend on how lazy I am as to whether or not I'll actually hit you.

3. When do you feel awkward? Or do you?

All the time.

4. What made you laugh most recently? Do you laugh easily?

A video on YouTube about Stingy for those of you who grew up on Lazy Town when it had the original Stephanie on there.

5. Do you cry easily? Does it take you a long time to stop crying?

No, not really. And no it doesn't. I'll cry in private but if I need to I can shut it off.

6. Describe some of your favorite people to be around, outside of your immediate family. What makes them that way?

They're caring, honest, loyal. They have quirks and are nerdy and don't mind my eccentric and sometimes disturbing ways.  What I dish out they can throw back.  We can talk and joke and never be awkward.

7. What makes you unique?

God did. In addition to that I don't think He necessarily intended me to be a pyromaniac but that's something going for me.

8. Are you shy around strangers? What about people who you know, but find impressive in some way?

Definitely though it doesn't come through as being shy it's just if you're a stranger I'm not a psychopath.  Around people I'm impressed by tends t bring out a more mature and subdued side that has less nerdy conversations.

9. What are some interesting or unusual hobbies or habits you have encountered?

Most of them are things I do. Like decapitate Barbie dolls and throw them at people. (For those who recall, probably only Admins, I had that hobby when I first joined and I still do that from time to time.)

10. What qualities are you most envious of in other people?

Confidence and ability to go after what they want.  And if we talk of physical qualities I envy the grace and skill necessary to dance well.

11. Who's a character in a book that you really relate to? Who is one that you really admire?

A character in a book would probably be, Anne Shirley from Anne of Green Gables, Jo March from Little Women or Felicity Merriman the American Girl. Fictional character in general I relate to is totally Felicie from Leap! the movie. As to a book character I admire... there's a lot but off the top of my head I admire Sara Crewe from A Little Princess

12. What was your most recent dream that you remember? Do you ever have nightmares or recurring dreams?

The dreams I've had lately were dreams that dealt with choking to death or not breathing because I haven't had my asthma medication so I wake up not being able to breathe and my lack of breathing comes into my dreams.  But yes I've had nightmares many times and typically about fears that aren't always in the forefront of my mind.

13. Do you ever get those weird deja-vu moments? What is one that you can remember?

All the time. Last one was when we'd driven to a nearby town we hardly visit and I had seen the exact drive we took, the place we went into and the conversation we had pulling up.

1. What age group/s do you get along best with? (i. e. little kids, agemates, older teens, adults) Why?

I get along better with adults and senior citizens. I don't know why, I just prefer to talk to them instead.

2. Are you different online than in person?

It kinda depends. Like I feel more free to be myself online a lot of times especially concerning things like my sexuality, and depression. And it's a lot easier to deal with people online than in person when you have social anxiety.

3. When do you feel awkward? Or do you?

 Heh heh when don't I.

4. What made you laugh most recently? Do you laugh easily?

My friends and I being weird over text. We say the randomest things lol. And no not usually.

5. Do you cry easily? Does it take you a long time to stop crying?

It kinda depends.

6. Describe some of your favorite people to be around, outside of your immediate family. What makes them that way?

N-N is my best friend. I met him last year and we've hit it off since then, convos about pandas included. >long story.< Hes the only one I've told about a lot of my problems and he never judges me, instead making me feel accepted and cared about.

J-Oh goodness. This goofball. He's hilarious and an utter nerd like me.

M-M's the one who really inspired me to write. I met her five years ago and I'm so happy I did. I love her to death cause she's so sweet and caring and has always stuck by me.

7. What makes you unique?

I don't know. I guess just my imagination. Ever since I was a little kid, my parents told me that I was in my mind more often than the real world. And that's still true for me. I can imagine I'm someone or somewhere else and it feels real. I don't really know to be honest.

8. Are you shy around strangers? What about people who you know, but find impressive in some way?

i wouldn't really call it shyness per say. More of wariness. I have trust issues where I don't even like going out of the house much so I mostly just stand and stare at the person until they leave me alone.

9. What are some interesting or unusual hobbies or habits you have encountered?

I can't think of any right now.

10. What qualities are you most envious of in other people?

The ability to fit in wherever they go.

11. Who's a character in a book that you really relate to? Who is one that you really admire?

Lance McClain from Voltron. He is so outroverted >which I can be with my friends< to cover up his insecurities and he makes lame puns and finger guns which i do all the time soooo. and i want his jacket.

Pidge/Katie Holt from Voltron. She is just amazing. She's 15, people. 15! And she's dealing with stuff that adults shouldn't even have to deal with. And she's just awesome.

12. What was your most recent dream that you remember? Do you ever have nightmares or recurring dreams?

Its too gory to say here.

Yeah, I have nightmares pretty much every night and some of them can be recurring.

13. Do you ever get those weird deja-vu moments? What is one that you can remember?

Yeah all the time. I can't remember.

1. What age group/s do you get along best with? (i. e. little kids, agemates, older teens, adults) Why?

I am awkward with everyone. The longest conversations I have are either online or in my head.

2. Are you different online than in person?

Very. The person behind the screen is a quiet, awkward, and introverted person who is trying hard, but not enough.

3. When do you feel awkward? Or do you?

All the time.

4. What made you laugh most recently? Do you laugh easily?

Depends. At school, almost never. But with the YP? I’m crazy. I’m in between with my family.

5. Do you cry easily? Does it take you a long time to stop crying?

Most of my emotions, including anger and sadness, I hold in. I try to relax, I remind myself it’s not a big deal, take a deep breath, and let my hurt feelings leave. When I do cry, it’s most likely that I did not get enough sleep or am very tired. I’m not sure how hard it is to stop, since I haven’t turned on the water works in a while.

6. Describe some of your favorite people to be around, outside of your immediate family. What makes them that way?

This is really sad but... my favorite people are actually my characters and the people inside my head. They are always there and I can always have that inside conversation with them.

7. What makes you unique?

Maybe that I have these mind characters. You could call them imaginary friends if you want, but I know they’re imaginary. I like to pretend they’re real. Talk about what they think with my friends. They’re not exactly Æs. No, they’re something deeper than that.

8. Are you shy around strangers? What about people who you know, but find impressive in some way?

There’s this one family friend that I’m kind of intimidated by. Yep, I’m shy and weir$ly quiet around him.

9. What are some interesting or unusual hobbies or habits you have encountered?

Hmm... I’d say cracking knuckles. Nervous habit of a friend of mine.

10. What qualities are you most envious of in other people?

Boldness, the ability to write without it sounding like it was written by a 5 year old girl who loves Disney princesses.

11. Who's a character in a book that you really relate to? Who is one that you really admire?

No one really for the relating part. Oh, maybe Simon in Lord of the Flies. Quiet, shy, awkward... I really admire Jenny/Monet113 in the Gameknight999 series. She’s artistic, looks at things in a different way, and is not afraid to stand up for what’s right. Also, she is an awesome Minecrafter.

12. What was your most recent dream that you remember? Do you ever have nightmares or recurring dreams?

Dreams? *shivers* Not a good topic for me.

13. Do you ever get those weird deja-vu moments? What is one that you can remember?

Ummm, never had one. Sorry.
