Silly Games Thread!

OK! This is where you post any old, weird/funny, games that you used to play when you were younger, and may or may not play now.

When I was like six, we played a game that we called I Gotch your Bottom! We would run around the house, stealing each others' bottom. Sometimes we would slap it onto another person, and somtimes we would get rid of it (like flushing it down the toilet) so that the person wouldn't get their bottom back. It was so much fun!

So do you have any weird games that you used to play?

Well, my little sister and I used to play this game I made up called "The beach people." We'd only play it on a cloudy summer day (Oddly, a lot of our indoor games have weather requirements) and it was basically us wearing sundresses and towel capes in the biggest rom in the house and trading seashells and those mini bottles of shampoo you get from hotels. It was a 'pretend' game, and usually there was a story of some type, but I don't remember what the actual story was...

A few years ago we all played hotel, which isn't really that weird, except for our room service system. I'd put one end of a baby monitor upstairs (where all the rooms were) in the hallway. Then, I'd take the other one downstairs (where I was hiding a lunchbox) in the living room. The lunch box typically had raisins, crackers, clementines, chocolate chips, peanuts, and dry, uncooked spagehtti and THEN everyone would use the monitor to say, "I'd like a peanut, a raisin, and a chocolate chip and my room is #1," so I'd bring up the food. The plus side to this game is that I got to read while everyone else tried to figue out if dry spagehtti tastes good with raisins.

My little sister and I also used to play "Pharmacy". (We got the idea from Elizabeth Enright's Melendy quartet.) This was mixing together drops of old lotions, toothpastes, soaps, shaving creams, the ends of makeup, etc in empty baby food containers. It's a fun game, until you decide to try mixing ketchup and shaving cream. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE MIX KETCHUP AND SHAVING CREAM. It is the nastiest concoction ever created.

Then (we still play this one): Alligator Poo.

Every year, on the first day of true summer (at least 70 and not raining) we play Alligator Poo; and all it is is one of us standing on the couch and one of us standing on the window seat, whipping a huge cotton blanket around (like a jump rope) until it's all tightly twisted up. Then, whoever isn't whipping wiggles under the blanket rope on their stomach.

There's probably more I haven't thought of... and I came up with most of them XD

@Alizarine - XD Those games are hilarious! They sure sound like a lot of fun though! Especially Alligator Poo!! :3 (Whatever inspired that name? XD)

Moonfrost and I used to play all sorts of other fun games...I'll go see if she's okay with me posting them.
