Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Your Daily Dose

Your Daily Dose of Weirdness!

So here's a little thing I'm doing. I'm going to write a weird, possibly cryptic, possibly nonsensical sentence every day as long as I can. Why, you ask? Cuz I'm bored. So here we go!

DAY ONE:

The printer gave a sharp buzz, like that of static radio, and then it burst into colorful light. The only thing left from the explosion was a piece of paper. On that paper was a drawing of a lightning bolt streaking through a brick wall. This paper is in the world. But another world is in this paper.

This reminds me of Welcome to Night Vale's tweets.

Lovely writing, by the way! I like cryptic and weird things, so I'm particularly inclined to like this. I can't wait for more!

DAY TWO:

Although it may seem complicated, the world is much simpler than you think. After all, the maps tell you the stories of history. And the history tells you the stories of people. And the people tell the stories of the world. And so is the cycle of knowledge.

You are officially my hero. I will join you in your weirdness.

When my AE was going to climb the next tree, she saw a piece of paper lodged in between two branches. At first she thought it was a ski lodge invite, but then she realized it was a howler! She opened it quickly, and it screamed: JERRY,  YOU STOLE MY DOG AND YOU WILL PAY, YOU WILL PAY WITH YOUR MOTHER'S TEA SET!

And with that, Dewdrop had the sense to run away.

Cool idea, very nice writing and interesting thoughts for both subjets.

DAY FOUR:

An orange may be the fuit of the tree, but the fruit of the orange is it's juice.

The mask sits on a wall. The mask hasn't been worn in years. It's owner knows the perspective it shows.

A scratch can be deeper than the surface, but the surface will always be deeper than the scratch.

My nightvale sense is telling me that I should memorize this or face the consequences.

My common sense is telling me that this is just a random list of words.

*screenshots list* You can never be too careful.

It is rather reminiscent of The List, isn't it?

*Reads through and promptly collapses into a pile of Star-Trek-reminiscent goo* (I--can't. I cannot. This. No.)
