Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Hey.I just wanted

Hey.

I just wanted to anonymously talk a bit. I hope nobody minds.

First of all, if you think you know who I am. Please do not reveal me. I do not feel comfortable with talking about this subject under my real name, unless there is a specific discussion thread. I have taken lengths to disguise my writing style, so I could be anyone. Please don't post speculation on my identity either, as I need anonymity right now.

As some of you may have noticed, it's LGBTQ+ Pride month. A lot of CBers have posted about what they identify as, or what pronouns they use, or about their girlfriends or boyfriends.

And that is fine.

I just want to look for religious people, who are Christians like me, to talk to. @Admins...Please don't delete this post just because it's religious. Yes, I am aware that not everyone is religious. Not everyone is LGBTQ+ either, and anyone is welcome to comment with their opinions on this thread, as long as you are respectful. (Sorry for abusing italics/bold here.)

I just feel so lonely. So many people identify as different things, or use different pronouns (which I do not mind. They are just pronouns), and I feel like I am the only one here who believes what I do. I just want someone to talk to about this.

Sorry for being whiny, I just felt the need to write about this.

Thank you for your comments. Chatterbox does not support a discussion of this topic.

Nobody should be here to push their beliefs on anybody else. Our pride thread is restricted to exactly that - one thread. Those are comfortable with things LGBTQ+, or are LGBTQ+ themselves, are, I am sure, happy to see it. I know I was delighted to find it and have a chance to express myself. However, those who are uncomfortable with it can do something very simple: not click on the thread.

Please note you're not the minority here, either. You'll find a lot of CBers who think the way you do.

While I respect your beliefs, I also believe that it's unfair to restrict peoples because of their beliefs. I know that's not what you were implying, though, and I appreciate that.

A lot of this felt very unfinished, but it's late and I'm not at my most eloquent, apologies. xD
