Grievingso,

Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Grievingso,

Grieving

so, my dog died in July...I’ve been trying to pretend nothing has happened on here, but it’s just pusher me deeper into my pit of utter pain and solitude. So here I am, telling all of you. I don’t really want to rant, I can barely type rn I’m crying so hard, so bye.

Losing a beloved pet is hard, but as time goes on you'll feel less sad , be able to remember the good times you had together , and smile about them.

I feel you. My rat Sweet Potato died two days ago, and I've coped pretty well, so here are some tips

1. Religious Schist (saying Hi, Sweet Potato to like every animal I see)

2. Hug your other pet lots

3. Go on a trip the day after and be super jetlagged so I can't think and want to die.

I've got a different attitude to death, and that's made me think of her with a smile.

Aww, I'm sorry. *sends virtual hugs and cookies*

A passing to the earth

Is more than can be borne

A love is lost

Ne'er to return

Let time glaze the hurt

And know that we all mourn

A love is lost

Ne'er to return

*whispers* Thanks, SG.

*sends more hugs* I would say it's okay, but right now it's not. Remember to take care of yourself. We'll be here.

June, we are all here to help you. I've never had a pet, but I think it would be a good idea to focus on good memories, and lock your bad memories away. We are all here for you June. We can and will help. We all promise.

The hurt may never completely go away

But what Viola said is true

And I believe God made a place for animals in heaven

And we're always here for you; it's who we are

We are the Chatterbox:

CBer, CBette and Admin

If you need time away,

We know how it feels-

Come back when you're ready

You are a piece and a place in the Chatterbox puzzle

That nobody else can fill

You're awesome

We love you

WE'RE HERE, so REMEMBER

I'm so sorry to hear about that, June! My sibling's cat passed away not too long ago, so I'll tell you what I told her.

You loved your dog, and you shouldn't have to hide that. It's ok to grieve. Perhapse they will come back to you as something else down the road. But that aside, I'm so sorry for your loss and, I think I speak for everyone when I say this: CB is here for you.

Best wishes.

Oh, June, I’m so sorry. I know how it feels to lose a pet. It’s hard. And you miss them a lot. I’ve watched quite a few of mine pass away. Right now I have a really old yellow lab who has cancer, and though she seems to be doing okay at the moment, there’s nothing they can do about it and it’s going to probably kill her eventually. I don’t know how much longer we have with her, and it’s going to be so, so hard when she passes. But know that we’re here for you, if you need to talk, rant, or just cry. Remember, even though it may not seem like it now, things will be okay again, eventually, and like the Admin said, after a time you will be able to look back on the good times you and your dog had together and smile. I will pray for you. *hugs* Take care.

*hugs tightly* You have my sympathies, friend. My dog passed away in July as well. I know that at the beginning (or sometimes, even farther along than that) it's very hard to feel like you'll ever be able to move on and, like the Admin said, smile at the good memories you made with your dog. I promise that peace will eventually come. But until then, we're all here for you. :)
