I've wanted one of these for ages! I think! Thank you!

I have way too much I want to say. I guess I'll just go for it.

I'm doing research! On what, you ask? Magic.

...Okay, fine, I haven't started yet, but I've already got two books and I'm hoping to read them by summer's end. I mostly want ideas for a magic system in Kyngdom. We know there is magic, and there's been demonstrations of it, but I want to make it a little more difficult and defined for two of my characters who use it.

Also, does anyone else get wrist pains from overuse? If I do too much baking and drawing in one day it'll hurt to write and stuff.

I'm way too excited and nervous right now, so I might be overly dramatic and enthusiastic and weird. Sorry!

Fun & friendly debate topic:

Which order should you read the Chronicals of Narnia in?

I've actually never read them, at least not that I remember. I would probably go with the order in which they were written.

The order they were written, definitely. The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe has the most concise wordbuilding, and introduces you to Narnia nicely. Following the Pevensies story, then branching off to the other characters and storylines I think is the most clear. You also get a better appreciation for the world of Narnia and how C.S. Lewis developed, grew, and changed his universe as the books went on, which you lose if you read them chronologically. The Magician's Nephew is great, but I feel like is less of a self-contained story as some of the others, so reading it first just isn't the same.

The awkward, dramatic person has arrived!

(Silence)

Oof, I’m not good at this XD.  Annyyyyy way...

*awkward pause* my brain is empty...welp, HELLO PEOPLE! *people stare* Sorry, didn’t mean to yell...*slinks off to corner* I’ll just stand hear, as to not further embarrass myself. *silence* *sudden outburst* IM ACTUALLY WRITING POETRY! *silence* Whoops, I yelled again didn’t I.

The order in which they were written is sometimes slightly confusing, but I do agree that it is a bit better that way. What are your favorite books in the series? My favorites are The Magician’s Nephew, and (I think) The Last Battle, and my least favorite is The Silver Chair. Or maybe The Voyage of the Dawn Treader is my second favorite. Idk.

On a quite different note, does anyone blog or have a YouTube channel? I recently started posting again on my blog, so just wondering.

And Viola?, you NEED to READ the Chronicles of Narnia. It is an AMAZING series. I guess I’m yelling today too, June. ;)

Okay then, here goes completely changing the subject, then:

What would you guys consider your spirit animal? What animals can you see other CBers here as?

I am a cat! Probably a housecat. I know a bit of a lot about them, I live with two, and they've kinda just always been a thing for me.

Probably a giraffe or an elephant.

Did anyone notice the resemblance of a spirit animal to a patronus?

Hey tech-y people: (aka not me)

I'm on a windows 10 laptop and I can't figure out how to make a screenshot (which I can do) into an image file. I take the screenshot, and then I can paste it into word, paint, etc, but I don't know how to plop it in a folder. Any tips?

I'm pretty terrible with computers, sorry. Maybe Google will know?

@Alizarine

I think if you paste it into word or paint, then select it and right click, you can save it. Maybe you don't have to select it. Hmm. . . I'm not entirely sure, but you can try it!
