RESTAURANTS!! Hi, everybuggy!

RESTAURANTS!! Hi, everybuggy! What is your favorite restaurant? Some of mine are the little local ones around here, and I really like Subway, too! YUM!!

Good topic!!  My dad used to own two Subways!!  It was too stressful for him, so he sold them.  He's looking for a new job, now...  Anyway, Subway is my favorite fast food (sort of!) restaurant.  Other type would have to be this cute little restaurant in the Old Port named Hot Suppa! (Yes, there really is an exclamation point, there. ((I don't know if it is nation-wide or not...)) ).  My second favorite would have to be Macaroni Grill, because of its amazing macaroni, but I'm too old to eat off the kids menu, now... :(  My third favorid is, ummm, I think it's called Wild Willy's, or something like that.  It is a burger restaurant and they make the best veggie burgers in the world (and the best hand-sqeezed lemonade!)!  And, of course, I like the locals, too!

I am bringing this thread to life, because I like the topic!  :)  I mostly like local *non-chain* ones.  Fast food, I like Jack in the Box and Taco Bell.  We normally never get fast food though.  Oh, Subway is really good, too.

My favorite restaurant is probably The Melting Pot. Only problem is it takes about 2 1/2 hours to eat a whole meal there!

I've actually been on this site a while. Yeah the Melting Pot is a chain restaurant. Although I only know that there is one in Sacramento, CA, and one is Seattle, WA. It's a fondue restaurant. And really nice too.

My favorite has obviously changed since Oct. 2008...  Probably Panera Bread now. :) SOO good!  Especially the black bean soup in a sour dough bread bowl.  We were going to buy Paneras instead of Subways, but for some annoying reason, we didn't. :( And I still like Macaroni Grill.  And Mr. Bagel's (a New England bagel shop with the best bagels ever)!  And Chipotle's Mexican Grill, which is basically the best burrito place in the world.  But sadly, there's one in practically every state except for Maine.  So.  Yeah.  I eat there when I go to Florida.  But I wrote on Chipotle's wall on Facebook a long time ago, and the person in charge of the page replied and said they might open one in Maine, probably in the mall!  Yay!

There are also islands which I really loved a lot before but we started going there too often so I don't enjoy it there anymore..and I'm planning to go to a really good brunch buffet called castaways...I've seen it on the travel channel...has anybody been there?
