I wasn’t really sure what to call this thread, but I’ve had this idea floating around in my head for awhile now. Basically, anyone can post anything here. We got barely any snow until now, and it was like, let's dump all the snow at once!
We just got over a foot of snow and it's really pretty. Just a lot of shoveling work!
And no school tommorow!!

I just read an amazing book called Whale Talk by Chris Crutcher.. I'll tell you if I like a book, that means it was well written- I have SUCH a high standard for writing. Heck, if I finish a book, that means it's well written. Anyways I'd definitely recommend, it was one of those books that really touched me.

That moment when you’re writing about a voyage on a ship and you realize you know absolutely nothing about medieval ships or sailing or ship terms or getting attacking by sea monsters.

I relate way too much... even though the ship my characters are on isn't too fancy or anything, I still have no idea about different ship terms or parts of the ship. XD Like my captain, who is supposed to be this crazy experienced sailor, is like "You, go tie down that rope thingy. And you, let loose the big length of fabric thingy whose name I forgot that propels us foreword."

Ah, you guys saw the eclipse? I had wanted to, but it wasn't supposed to be visible in my area until like eleven at night, and it was a school night, so... it was still plenty bright out, though. I had trouble falling asleep because it was like daylight in my room. XD

I’m considering changing my CB appearance a bit. My persona/thing used to have rather pale skin, but I think coyotedomino might look better with a darker skin tone.
