I wasn’t really sure what to call this thread, but I’ve had this idea floating around in my head for awhile now. Basically, anyone can post anything here. Any random thought you have, any random thing that happens to you, any random question that pops into your mind. Have fun, and don’t be afraid to be random.

Assuming that by 'the very latest scientific research' you mean that time a couple of days ago when I shook my toast before I ate it

The first oranges weren't actually orange. The original oranges from Southeast Asia were a tangerine-pomelo hybrid, and they were actually green.

Carrots too! They were originally purple, if I remember right, and then farmers in the Netherlands did some selective breeding to change them to their country's national color.
