Ah, happy birthday! Huh, I didn’t know you were younger than me. I thought you were older for some reason. Yeah, I freaked out before I turned fifteen. Even though it’s been a few months it still doesn’t feel really real, like, ‘wow, I’m actually that old?’ XD

There was a stabbing really close by to my school today. When we were walking home we passed the restaurant, and there were like 10 police cars and ambulances, and people were crying. Tons of streets were closed down and the city buses were rerouted. It's crazy. There was actually.. like... blood on the floor, it was terrifying! It was these two teenagers fighting and the one that got stabbed has an open chest wound. He might die. It's so horrifying that it happened right there when we were right there! I've heard of things like this happening of course, but I've never had something so close to home and it really freaked us out.

Ugh, it's cold!
I want to complain about the new Minecraft update...but I won't...right now...because I don't have the dedication to actually do it. I'll just keep happily playing in version 1.8 and spend most of my time on the Hive anyway.

Is it the new look of everything you don't like? I mean, how all the food and saplings and flowers have been re-textured? Or the villagers? I am a tiny bit homesick for the versions before now . . . .

I'm new as well and I feel the exact same way about clocks. They always seem loudest when there is nothing else making noise which makes sense because there is nothing else masking the noise-but still!

Hi, Minecraftgirl! I'm Winterblue, and I'm new here to. I joined two or three weeks ago. I think the ticking noise that clocks make is just the sound of the hands moving, but I agree that it can be annoying sometimes! I don't know if we could get real life super powers through science, but that would be really cool.

A lot of the time I feel like ticking clocks are soothing. Especially the one in my kitchen, which we've had forever. It's quiet enough that you don't notice it during the day, but if I happened to get up really early when nobody was around and making noise, it would just be so peaceful to hear the clock ticking when I was in the kitchen eating breakfast or whatever. For me it just helps to contribute to the peacefulness of early mornings.

Starlord is really just the best. And I really love the scene at the beginning where he’s dancing to Come and Get Your Love (which I’ve been listening to quite a bit lately xD). And I want a red leather jacket now.
