I wasn’t really sure what to call this thread, but I’ve had this idea floating around in my head for awhile now. Basically, anyone can post anything here. Any random thought you have, any random thing that happens to you, any random question that pops into your mind. Have fun, and don’t be afraid to be random.

hello! i'm not sure if any of you remember me, but if you do, i'm back! temporarily, at least. i have gained a renewed interest in reading a multitude of books (a few of which are skulduggery pleasant, scythe, and i am number four) and a slight obsession with the broadway musical newsies. if you wish to talk about any of these things, i will gladly take you up on it. other than that.. yeah nothing super crazy has happened. i still like theatre and d&d and stuff like that. it's good to be back!

Skullduggery Plesent is good, I like the humor + names. Scythe is also interesting. Which one in the series are you reading? I like the first a lot, the second is okay, and the third is weird—I don't like the ending. I've heard of I am Number Four, but I've never read it. Do you recommend it?
My school did Newsies three years ago, I think, but I wasn't in it. I remember vaugely newspaper deliverers, that evil tax-raiser, and Crutchy. I think I liked it?

I've only read the first Scythe book so far. I definitely reccomend I am Number Four! Your description of newsies is pretty accurate. i wish my school would do it!

The statement x = y may seem untrue and impossible at first, but if you find that the values of x and y are 0 and -0, it's actually true, because 0 and -0 are equal. (Or rather, maybe the equation would look something more like x = -x.)
Although you can't really split infinity, I imagine that if you think of infinity as the presence of an infinite mass of points on a coordinate plane, and then you split it in half, it would be something like a massive ray--- going in forever in one direction, only limited in theory, on the sides and top, by humanity's own limits in giving names to the immense quantities of numbers that exist.
