I wasn’t really sure what to call this thread, but I’ve had this idea floating around in my head for awhile now. Basically, anyone can post anything here. Any random thought you have, any random thing that happens to you, any random question that pops into your mind. Have fun, and don’t be afraid to be random.

Guys. Guys. I think I’m going to dye my hair. It’ll be my natural signature golden-blonde still, but the ends are going to fade into a subtle strawberry/rose gold. And I’m going to get more of a u-cut, too, but keep the three-foot length. I’ve never really done anything different (besides growing it out) to my hair before, but I’ve decided I want to change things up. I’m kind of nervous, but really excited!

Oooh, cool idea! Blond hair is a lot easier to dye than other colors. And if you end up not liking the color for some reason, you can always grow it out a bit more and cut that part off. So don't be nervous!

True! I’ve also heard that rose gold dye fades pretty quickly, in a couple of weeks, so it’s not a huge commitment.

Thanks! And nice—I bet that’ll look really good. I’d love to try short hair eventually, although I currently have a fear of cutting mine short, even though I like short haircuts as well as long ones.

I realized that for such a long time, I've been using the term "sweatshirt" to refer to a hoodie, when in fact "sweatshirt" is actually technically the term for a zip-up shirt without a hood. And hoodie is really the proper word to use. But I still want to call it a sweatshirt. And now my life is more confusing.

Oh, huh...now that I think about it, I’ve never thought much about what counts as a sweatshirt vs. a hoodie. I don’t really ever call zip-ups sweatshirts—I usually just refer to them as jackets. And then I own a lot of what I normally think of as ‘sweatshirts’, which don’t have zippers or hoods, but maybe the more proper term for them would be pull-over sweatshirts? And for non-zip sweatshirts with hoods, I usually refer to them as either sweatshirts or hoodies, interchangeably I guess.
