Hey all! I

Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Hey all! I

Hey all!

I know some older friends are coming back on cause it’s almost Valentine’s Day (crazy right?) but I don’t have the time to go through the threads (I’m sorry, really) so if anyone wants to say hi here I am! (KG I’m looken at you...)

Okay wait so there’s more.

First my CBversity was a little while ago so I’m officially 3! Crazy right? I think it’s crazy. Idk about you all. (I’m so old omk)

shout out to my CBbff (cause it’s a thing, Vi) who’s only 1 year hahaha

Second, there’s a good chance I’m not going to be around for Valentine’s Day. Why, you may ask? Well Claaws is a psychopath and has actually been spending the past week at a mental hospital. I’m out now, but there’s a good chance I’m going back. For how long, I dunno, so if anyone wants to say hi before I leave then please do!

I've actually learned some things at the hospital. 1. Staff members are mean and the therapists have no idea what they’re doing. 2. Love yourselves guys. There’s always people who are as crazy as you so don’t feel alone! You're not alone. ‘It’s okay, we’re all crazy here! Don’t worry, we love you!’ ~anonymous person at the hospital.

I'm here if anyone ever needs to talk about their own problems. (Cause therapists have no idea what’s going on don’t listen to them they just want your moneeeeey) Most of the time anyways. If you get a therapist that actually wants to help you and you feel comfortable around, then that’s very good- it’s an endangered species you should be proud.

so there’s me that’s whats been going on with my life...

oh and I know this is a little random, but guys mental illnesses are normal. 1 of 4 adults will have depression some point in their lives, even. (Admins you can look that up I was just at a mental hospital and several posters said that so...but you do you) We need to stop treating these with such fear and anger and hatred, people with mental illnesses are more likely to hurt themselves then another person. Actually, it’s very rare for people to actually go psycho-crazy, and even then it’s only because they didn’t have the right help.

If you feel like you or someone you know is dealing with mental illness, get help! If you ignore the problem it won’t go away, fun fact of the day.

On that note I love you all and I’m so excited to see everyone again!! <3

I mean, I show psychopathic traits, but I'm not a full on psychopath... Should I be sorry for you? Eh, let's get down to the dragon flesh of the matter. *Initiates flying tackle hug*

Hey Claaws! It's so good to see you around again. It's honestly so great to hear someone just putting it out there that it's a normal thing to go through. I've been having some issues recently, so I might take you up on your offer sometime. If you yourself need anyone to talk to, I'm here as well.

Hey, Claaws! I hope that other than that, life is going fairly well. I hope you don't have to go back and that you're healing. I'll pray for you. Also, thank you for sharing, Claaws. It means a lot to me that you stepped up and said this--it's really brave of you. *hugs again*

Haha Rogue, I’m not actually a psychopath. I’m just crazy, and they don’t necessarily know what my problem is yet, so I just went with that. Viola told me not to but I did anyways. I thiiink what I have is a version of depression, anxiety, (ADHD yay), and PTSD. I find out later today so if anyone’s curious just ask ;)

Icy, are you on Nano? If you’re not comfortable sharing here just tell me to look at nano and I will. I love you, and I know it’s difficult to talk about these things just know that we’re here <3

Hey Cho! Great to see you again!!! I actually didn’t mind the hospital, the kids were really nice (in a ‘we’re all crazy’ sort of way) and it was a nice break from my home life. I wouldn’t mind going back. It actually does help, I mean if everyone isn’t against you the second you get there or anything. (Thanks parents)

*hugs* I think we should actually start a thing with this.

Whenever anyone feels sad, lonely, unwanted or depressed, write one thing your happy about and post it here. Describe your happy place, your favorite friend or family member, a good memory. Then post one thing you like about yourselves. I know this might be hard, but it’ll make you feel better, promise.

If anyone needs help with coping methods too, talk to me. That includes ways to break bad coping methods and replace with good ones.

I think it would also be good to talk about your own experiences with mental health. No one is too younge to experience mental health, many symptoms of depression and anxiety start at a very young age. PTSD can also start from a young age, take it from me. I think by opening up more about this we can show the younger generation that it’s okay to feel bad, to be different, to have thoughts and reactions that might not be ‘normal’.

Oh, that's good. I can pray for your mental stability, though, if you'd like. *Smiles*

I think it is incredibly important to have a place where we can talk about our mental health. Even if you don't have anything diagnosed, you still have feelings and it's important to address those feelings and their causes so that it doesn't develop into something worse.
