Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Yet another old

Yet another old cber thread for you guys, so have fun with that!!

I joined cb around late 2013-early 2014, and I think I left around 2016, but I'm not really sure if that's exact. Cricket was a big part of my life in those years, and I waited all day to get home so I could hop on my computer and go to chatterbox.

Now, I'm a sophomore in high school and I have my drivers permit (if you're ever in New England, stay off the roads ;)). I'm still really into theatre and I still love Jesus. I'm just taking things one day at a time, constantly trying to be a better person!! I'm so thankful to Cricket for helping me learn and grow, and for helping shape me into who I am today.

Also, I miss everyone so much!!!!! How is everyone doing? What are you guys up to? It's been too long ugh

Joss, nice to see you here! I remember your name back from 2013-2015 time but I don't think we've ever talked much. I'm glad to hear things are going good for you! I love theatre, but have never been in a performance before. Just the ability to change who you are and perform with emotions, not just words, makes it amazing.

I haven't been active here in a long while. Recently, I've just been focusing on senior school things. Anyways, I'm glad to see you again!

Hey Ashlee!! I love that too, it's so amazing to be able to convey your character to the audience and be a part of a story!! That's one of my favorite parts of theatre. How have your senior school things been going?

Hi, Joss! I'm not sure we were ever introduced, so hello! My name is Starseeker. I'm a current CBer (been here 2-3 years now and still going strong, whoo hoo) and a lover of combat boots, Marvel, sticky notes, and old British shows. (I'm also Poetic Panda's sister, if you remember her.) Welcome back!

Hey Starseeker!! It's awesome to be formally introduced :)) I love Marvel too!! Who are your favorite characters? I like Peter Quill, Shuri, and Loki. Also I remember your sister!!

Ooh, I'd have to say my favourite characters are Scarlet Witch, Black Widow, and Hawkeye, though Shuri, Loki, and Quill come in close behind. :) I'll tell her you said hi-- she came in briefly yesterday but was too busy to say much.

Welcome back Joss! I know your name, but I don't really know you. I would love to get to know you today though! I'm also a sophomore and I'm bugging my parents about starting to drive. Hopefully I will be able to convince them before too long.

You live in England? That's pretty cool, I haven't even ever been out of the country (America). How long have you lived in England?

Hey Silverwaxwing (awesome name btw)!! I actually live in New England, like up north in America. I wish I lived in England though, haha. I hope you convince your parents to let you start driving!! Driver's ed can be kinda slow at first, but the actual driving can be an experience :))

Thank you, it's a fun name! Ahh, I must have misread what you wrote! New England is also a place I haven't been, though. xD My dad is into the idea, but my mom doesn't want me to start yet. Sooner or later they will have to get tired of driving me around though...

Joss! Welcome back! I remember you!

I should get back into theater. I was really invested in it in elementary school, but my middle school didn't offer all of its students the opportunity to act. Even just being part of stage crew would be great; I did that in fifth grade and it's so much fun. Have you acted in any plays recently?

Congratulations on your driver's license, and I'm glad you're doing well!

Hey St.Owl!! I missed you :)) I'm currently doing Alice in Wonderland with a theatre company, and I'm in my school's one acts. They didn't have drama for like a while though, so I know how you feel about not having opportunities. How have you been doing lately?

Hullo fellow theatre nerd!! Have you been in any plays lately? Which ones are you obsessed with right now? I'm into Tuck Everlasting, Anastasia, and Mama Mia at the moment (and of course Newsies and Hamilton will always be my faves).

Hey Rose bud:) I love Tuck Everlasting!!! It's so underrated, and I'm so sad it closed. My obsessions always change, but right now I'm into the Adams Family musical (Pulled is a realllyyyy good song), Waitress (DAWN IS MY FAVORITE), and Fly By Night. I really want to watch Newsies and I keep saying I'll get around to it but I never actually do!! I have to find time to see it soon :)

Joss!!!! *flying tackle hugs*

Eee, hello, it's amazing to see you again! Congrats on getting your learner's permit, that's so exciting!! I've got mine too, now for a little over a year, and I just drove on the interstate for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I'm not sure how I'll feel about driving alone for the first time, though...Are you nervous or excited for driving?

I'm going to a private Christian school now and it's been such a blessing being able to grow in my faith around kids my age. I'm really enjoying being able to socialize, too--homeschooling was starting to get a little lonely.

I can't wait to catch up with you and everyone else!! I'm so glad you could make it to the reunion :)

HIIIIIII!!!! I missed you!!! I'm actually not really a big fan of driving, it stresses me out a lot and I would like to not do it, but it's kind of a neccesity :p. I'm happy to hear about your school!! I go to a private Christian school too :) It's pretty fun, but super small so it has its ups and downs. How have you been doing?? Anything new been going on in your life?

YEEK! *tackle hug* Fellow Portland buddy! I've actually got a question to ask you concerning that, but there's a bunch of other stuff for me to check up on CB-wise right now so it'll have to wait until tomorrow! I've missed you too. It's so good to see you though! Oh man all of today has been so overwhelming. And awesome, but overwhelming. *faints*

Oh yeah. My dad and I earlier had to break like 2 inches of turned-to-ice snow away from our back sliding door so it wouldn't melt tomorrow and flood the house. Like 2 inches. Deep.
