a girl, around twelve or thirteen, stands among the CBers. She is fading. Forgetting to visit. Posting less frequently. Making threads, then disregarding them.

 

The thought has been in her head for a while. She knows that she'll never be able to commit to it, but she acts upon it, anyways.

 

I'm leaving.

No, not leaving, exactly. I'll still check in, lurk around, read threads and not post on them. Seriously, I can't stay away that long. And I'm still doing NaNo this April.

More of a not-really-hiatus.

 

I just haven't been checking in. For goodness's sake, I FORGOT ABOUT THE CB REUNION!!!

So, uh, goodbye. I'll be back soon enough.

 

A girl, around twelve or thirteen, has made her decision. She slowly, hesitantly, walks to the barrier that keeps her safe inside of the CB and steps outside.

 

It is time for a new adventure.

Hi there, Gracia, you don't know me (unless you changed your name) because I'm an oldie CBer returning for reunion. I wanted to comment to say that it's normal to feel sad, even guilty about fading from the CB, because that's what happened to me , even though I love the CB, but please don't feel too guilty. It's great that you have new adventures awaiting you in life, and great that you still want to be able to check in to the CB from time to time, and even if you forget, that's okay too :)
