Happy Pi Day!!!!

Happy Pi Day!!!!

Happy Pi Day!!!!

It's Pi Day! One of the best holidays of the year! I'm a huge nerd, so I love Pi Day! Did you guys do anything special in math today to celebrate? We had the last few weeks to do a pi project for a quiz grade, where we could either write pi jokes, a pi story, make a video about pi, or write a parody of a song. I wrote a parody of "I Melt With You" by Modern English. We brought in food, listened to music, and presented out projects. It was a ton of fun. Did anyone else celebrate? And does anyone have any of pi memorized?

3.14 is what I have memorized! We had a potluck lunch with choice of pie for dessert.

Happy Pi Day! I'm actually homeschooled, and in fact I was snowboarding most of the day and had no idea that it was Pi Day until just a little while ago when my dad mentioned it. We had pizza for dinner! (Pizza pie, I guess?)

I have over 50 digits of pi memorized! (I hope it doesn't seem like I'm bragging.)

Yeah. I have a lot of free time on my hands. But my brother knows way more. He knows over a hundred digits.

We didn't have school on pi day (parent teacher conferences), so no math class celebration for us. But even if we did have school, we probably still wouldn't do anything special, because our math class has a very set routine that our teacher doesn't like to interrupt. But I ate chicken pot pie for dinner and cherry pie for dessert! The cherry pie wasn't that good. It was really, really sweet. Too sweet for me.

I almost made a thread for this! When I first heard about it I thought it was ‘pie’ day though. XD I don’t have many digits of pie memorized—just 3.1415926, which is kind of surprising considering I haven’t really tried to memorize any, those are just in my head somehow. I’m homeschooled so nothing special happened in math, but my dad made some amaaazing homemade pizza (pie) for dinner, and made some mini key lime ‘pi’s for dessert—which were quite delicious if I do say so myself. :P

Happy (belated) pi day!
My math teacher brought in round cookies, circles you know. And I'm such a nerd I have about 50 digits of pi memorized. *cringes* XD

I’m on spring break so I totally forgot pi day was happening until late at night, and by then it was too late :(

Oooh yup I knew it was happening but wasn't on the CB that day. All I have memorized is 3.1415926535. My brother used to come home when we were younger and sing the first 10 that his friend had learnt, but it was 3.141592654 'cause it was rounded, but now I learnt the real one.
