Chatterbox: Down to Earth

May 17th is

May 17th is dedicated to raising awarness about the discrimination against certain people all over the world just because of who they love and identify as.

You can change the world for the better. We need more love, not hate. Everyone's a person, no matter their shape, size, or color, and everyone deserves basic human rights. You deserve human rights, your mom, your friends, your next door neighbor. We're all the same on the inside.

Today is a day to be proud of who you are. Every day should be a day to be proud, because you are you and there couldn't be anything greater then that. This is a day to love yourself for who you are and help others love themselves too. Because we're all human, and we all deserve love.

Remember that love doesn't fit into labeled boxes. You can make a change. Today is about love and family, share your love.

Yay! Happy Anti-descrimination Day! Can we celebrate by naming random steriotypes and refuting them logically?

That depends upon the subject of the discrimination, within Chatterbox guidelines.

I really need an explanation admin.

We support diversity and inclusiveness. But we do not post things that may begin discussions we think may be considered too mature or inappropriate for all our readers. And only respectful comments will be posted. Any comment that contains disrespectful language may be delete in entirety.

Yes, we need this! Good-bye, discrimination!

I'm honestly curious: why do some people around the world dislike Jews?

Ooh yay history!!

Ok so, it started mostly because of the Christians blaming the Jews for the murder of Jesus and that hate is written into the Bible and passed down from generations. Jews are also blamed for supernatural things, and many Jewish humans were smart humans so people got jellous and called them like, magic or whatever cause they were good at things. Also, Christians weren’t allowed to handle money at like banks and give loans so Jews were mostly in charge of that, and when the economy crashes they were blamed. Also Jewish humans make up the minority in many countries and some people hate those who are different then them and minorities are often seen as burdens and attacks on nationality. This is seen in America in the form of Muslims and Mexicans. Christians are also subjected to this hate middle eastern countries.

*bows* and this has been Claaws’ history lesson of the day thanks for coming!!

Aw admins I thought that was really well written out. (Is English my first language? Yes. Can I speak it? Nope.)

We understand! It's a tricky subject and we're all trying to tread carefully. --Admin

sorry this comment is so late!!

This is truely something to be aware of. I'm glad someone made this thread. We should all be treated equal. Everyone should be able to do the same things, were all human!! Everyone was made to live, so we should all be living eqaully! But were not. We need to help others so the can live as we live!!! We should be proud. We should love ourselves and others. No matter your height, weight, race, personality, history, and any other diffrences, you should be proud!! We are all the same in one way imperticular--we're human. But we should also celebrate our differences! We need to love no matter what!! But humans have the same rigths and should be able to have acess to hte same things while being able to share their diffrences!!Laughing
