Maybe not, but maybe.
So, as you probably don't know--did I ever mention it? I can't remember--I have a DeviantArt account, relatively new, and I've been posting some CB-related art on it. I haven't mentioned the CB by name, and I don't think I've even referenced a forum, but I have been posting picturings and usernames of CBers and AEs. I'll post a screenshot of specific worries once this goes up.
At first I didn't realize that it might be anything but okay, until I decided to get permission before posting a couple of drawings, and subsequently began to wonder if maybe there was something substantial behind why I was uncomfortable with not doing that. It's my artwork, of course, but some of it depicts things that some of you have described. I guess I'm wondering how much of it belongs to me when I draw your stuff.
I'm sure some of you will have differing opinions on this. I don't know what the answer is myself. That's why I'm asking.
The CB is a significant source of inspiration for me, and I want to share what it's inspired elsewhere, but not if I'm doing something wrong.

Personally, I don't have a problem with you posting CB-related art. I mean, it's all your art, and you can really do whatever you want with your art, as far as I'm considered. The one thing I did think of when I first read this was if you used your real name and that connected you to the CB -- though that's your concern, not ours, and you don't know our real names anyway.
So in conclusion, I think what you're doing is probably fine.

I don't think it's a problem! It's your artwork, and as long as it's not directing people to the CB I think it's okay.
