Alright my dudes. *Rubs hands together maliciously*
I need suggestions what to wear this Halloween, and I thought others would too! So here is where you can share your previous or present costumes, and give suggestions to me and fellow costume slackers lol.
So last year I was Spiderman, as his “homemade” costume in Homecoming. I make all my costumes myself, and this year I’m wavering between multiple costumes. I thought about a cowboy, so I made the holster (I already had the old timey gun), but I stopped and instead began to make another spiderman suit. I finished the stealth mask, but haven’t finished the rest. So now I’m thinking of being The Scarecrow from Dr Syn: Scarecrow of Romney Marsh (It’s a really good old Disney movie about a smuggler.) Idk. I’m kinda into historical eras... but I’m really not sure.
So if anyone has any suggestions feel free to add on!

Sure, Joan B. of Arc. I'l definetly post a photo of my costume. Don't worry, admins, it'll just be spread out on the floor and not someone wearing it!
I wish my family actually went trick-or-treating tho. Now, the only reason I'm making a costume is bc I'm invited to a Youth Group All Hallows Eve party, and costumes are mandatory. *laughs* Rachel sure knows how to word an invitation!

Yeah, I should start on a costume... I’m always so late for these kind of things. Last year I literally hot glued a stem with the last little piece of green felt I had, stuck it on a green headband, and wore with it camo leggings and an orange sweater I had, the day of Halloween. I am very indecisive, very not good at ideas, and very not into makeup or face paint, so Halloween is sort of a predicament.
Reading through this thread, though, I now really want to be an wood elf. Does anyone have tips on how to make a cloak?

I can sympathize with you Jwyn. Last year, I split-second decided I wanted to be Saint Kateri Tekakwitha, so I made a black felt headband and short skirt, and hot-glued colored plastic beads to it. ONE SINGLE PERSON recognized that I was supposed to be an Indian, and didn't even realized that said Indian was Saint Kateri. As for tips on cloaks....... Hang in there........

Haha nope, I'm not older than you, but it seems like it's really common for CBers to think that I'm older than them. Let me just broadcast it out there: I'M THIRTEEN! I'M PROBABLY NOT OLDER THAN A LOT OF YOU WHO THOUGHT I WAS OLDER THAN YOU! I'M TURNING FOURTEEN SOON BUT I'M STILL THIRTEEN NOW! XD

Is it weird to be 17 and still be on the CB? I don't know...

Yeahhhh I am. X,D So many people have always thought I was older. Each time my birthday rolls around pretty much scores of people fall over from the realization that I'm younger than them.
I don't think it's weird for you to be a CBer at 17, but I don't really know when there's a limit to what age you should be to be on the CB. I think it's just generally when you feel too old for it, although I'm sure there's a point when you are just too old...but I don't want to say any specific ages.

A few years ago I was a fall tree and I thought that it was super cool. It was easy to put togather too. For my pants/shoes I wore brown boots and brown leggings(mine were fleece-lined because I live in a place where october basically means arctic tundra;)) I wore an orange shirt and went to Hobby Lobby and bought some cheep autumn garlands to wrap around and bobby pin to the shirt. Then I bought a autumn wreath (also a hobby lobby find) and pinned it to a hat.

I’m going as a fox. It’s my favorite animal and they’re so darn cute! Last year, I was Steve Urkle, a nerd to be precise. I do Halloween EVERY YEAR. Even though I’m probably too old. Here is a list of Halloween costumes I did for years.
