Happy Valentines Day!!

Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Happy Valentines Day!!

Happy Valentines Day!!

Hello everyone! I don't think we're having an official reunion, but since I haven't dropped in since last Valentine's Day, I thought I'd pop in and see how everyone is doing! You KNOW you've been gone for too long when the captcha has A FIFTH LETTER ????

How is the CB?? Any big news? I miss y'all and all the great times we've had! I still see some familiar faces—Joan, Leeli, Viola? Icy, how are y'all?

As far as what I've been up to, I'm still writing, although not as much because school has gotten to be a lot. Several of my poems have been published in the anthology POEM out of the Huntsville Literary ASsociation. I'm still writing crazy stories with Queen Elizabeth. We even dragged some unsuspecting friends into a roleplay game over a shared document with us. Cloudy Dweller has moved out and is attending a school for the arts in the specialization of creative writing.

My mom has finshed chemotherapy treatments. Her hair will never look the same, but the new look is absolutely beautiful!

Right now, what's currently dominating my life is a show at my local theatre. We're preforming Newsies!! Which is my DREAM! The show runs for most of February and it is an absolute blast! I'm a nun and a scab! We rehearsed almost every day for hours and hours and seeing the show come to life is really amazing. My Dad is also making his theatre debut as the Mayor in the show!

I'm considering sticking around for awhile, so y'all may see a little more of me.

Well anyways, I hope y'all are having a wonderful year! Never quit writing!

*happy squeals* Rosebud!!!!!!! *tacklehugs*

Oh my gosh-ITS SO GOOD TO SEE YOU!!!!! I was hoping you and some.other older CBers would pop by and say hi today!!!

That's so great that your Mom finished chemo treatments-I'm so glad to hear that she is doing well! I remember when you were really nervous about her and what would happen, so I'm so glad to hear that she is doing well. :)

That is so cool for you that you are in Newsies!!! What song did you audition with? Is it for a theater place, or your highschool?

I would love it if you could stay around for a little bit, but if not, it's so good to see you for a little. :) (Also, you should join the new Nano class that Mice made!)

As for me, life is going well I guess. I'm headed to go see Frozen the musical in Seattle right now, which I'm so excited about!

School is stressful though-I have multiple tests next week, and I absolutely HATE Pre-Cal, it's really hard!

Anyways, good to see you again! *hugs*

ROOOOOOOOOOOOSE BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUD *tackle hugs* Hey friendy! It's great to see you and happy Valentines' Day. Yep, the CAPTCHAs got a fifth letter, the CB has been going through a kind of dead and unproductive and low-populated time for a while now but I think it's getting a bit better, and congratulations on getting published! And I'm really glad to hear that your mom's done with chemotherapy. :l Yes, please stay for a while! We love you <3333

Hi!!! It's so good to see you guys!

I know the official reunion isn't this year (I don't remember when the next one is), but I thought I would check in to see if anyone was visiting anyway. I almost just didn't say anything because I didn't see anyone that I knew very well that I was sure had left and was visiting. Not that it would really matter if they were visiting or still here, I guess. But then I saw this and it made me so happy! I'm glad you're having such a good time writing and acting, Rose Bud, and so happy for your mom's recovery!

I've been busy with band, school, and skiing. That hasn't changed since last time I was on here. I auditioned for two district music festivals and got into both of them, which feels amazing because I had done junior festivals for grades 7-9 before, but now that I'm a sophomore I have to do senior festivals for grades 9-12. I would've liked to place higher than I did in both of them, but geting into both of them as a sophomore is something to be proud of, so I'm overall really happy with myself. School has been crazy this year, much harder than last year, but February break is finally starting today, and I'm so glad to have a break! I'll finally have time to read again. I'm going skiing in Colorado and I can't wait! Although I'm terrified of planes. But it'll be worth it.

I'm so, so glad to see all of you guys again! I miss the CB but I also feel like I've kind of grown out of it... That's something I never thought I would say 3 years ago. I don't really know when or why I stopped coming on here regularly, but I do miss the time when I would come on every day to talk to all my friends, and it's so nice to check in.

It's so nice to hear from those of you alums who are checking in today! The next official reunion is 2/14/23, but I like the idea of every Valentine's Day, because we don't have to wait so long and it's easier to remember! Rose bud, I'm so thankful to hear than you mom is doing well. Treatments are getting better all the time!

Ahhh Rose bud!! Hi! *tackle hugs*

It's so great to see you around! That's so cool that your poems got published--I've always admired your poetry. Also, ahh, you're performing Newsies!? That's so amazing, and honestly is my dream too. :P I'm glad to hear your mom is doing well, I've been praying for her. As for me, I've been doing alright. We got a St. Bernard puppy around Christmas, and she is absolutely adorable (and huge). My dad had a stroke just after Christmas, too, which was super unexpected, and he ended up having to spend a few weeks in the hospital/therapy, but he's home now and is thankfully making a quick and full recovery.

ROSE BUD!! I missed you so flippin much. Newsies is the absolute best and your production sounds so much fun. I'm glad you're still writing because your poetry is the best.

Congratulations to your mom! My cousin finished chemo in January. Even though her hair may be different I bet she's just as beautiful and awesome as always.

Love always! <3
