Hi everyone. I

Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Hi everyone. I

Hi everyone. I check the CB a lot but I've never posted much. Please don't try to guess who I am.

I'm really hoping you can give me advice about one of my good friends. Today we had a fight, though (over text). And she said that she's always felt like I'm judging her and it makes her insecure. We're going to have a real conversation about it sometime soon, in person, and try to work out misunderstandings and everything. I don't want to be fighting.

Thanks for reading all that, if you got here. Any advice anyone has would be much appreciated.

Anonymous, I'm sorry but a full discussion of your situation is beyond the scope of Chatterbox. I do suggest that you listen to your friend when you have your conversation. If she can give you a specific example of what you do that she thinks is "judging her," maybe you can avoid doing that in the future. Try to understand her feelings if you care about continuing your friendship. Beyond this, I suggest you talk to one of your parents or another trusted adult. Best wishes to you,

Admin

Good luck, anonymous. I hope that you and your friend resolve the problem. I agree with Admin, listen to what she has to say. Try not to yell or get worked up. My friends get in arguments a lot. It’s never fun. So I hope that, if she is a valued friend, you guys make up and your friendship stays intact.
