Take your mind

Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Take your mind

Take your mind off of it.

Ok, so we all know about this thing called "coronavirus" going around. And many of us want nothing more then to gossip to our hearts content about it: rumors, facts, opinions, quarantine activities, etc.

But you can do that in other threads. This thread is for LITERALLY ANYTHING ELSE.

Let me elaborate. I want this tread to be about happy, non-corona stuff. I know it sounds happy, but I think that many of us might enjoy spending some time thinking about other stuff.

If this is too sappy, uninteresting, or just not your thing, you don't have to post. But I highly advise talking about other stuff.

Operation MindOffCorona starts in 3...2...1...NOW.

Wow, until I saw this I never realized how much I've been thinking about the plague-who-will-not-be-named!

Well, my cat was sleeping in the living room today, and then he went and slept on my bed, and then he went onto the proch, ate some grass, and threw up. So that's great. I'm taking an online writing class and going on a bike ride today.

This is a really cool idea.

Well, I'm happy because I have a video chat with my band class this afternoon. Most of my friends are in band, and there are a bunch of people in band who I haven't been talking to because we aren't close friends, but I still miss them. So yeah. Yay!

Yeah, I've been taking online singing lessons with my actual singing teacher.

What else... Oh right! I have a really funny cat and vthe other day she just sat there with her tounge out for no reason and her tounge stayed out for a really long time.

@Starchaser, I had exactly the same thing with my orchestra class! It was so good to see everyone. Also this morning I woke up to about a foot of snow and I hadn't been expecting it at all. That was really exciting. And my pets continue to be as cute as ever.

So, I've been taking walks in the park to have fun. THis might make me seem nerdy, but so far I've seen...

A red-tailed hawk

A racoon

Many robins

Many white-throated sparrows

Many white crowned sparrow

Many ducks (Although I actually might be seeing th same ducks over and over. One day I saw 7 males and 2 females!)

A couple of cardinals

Others that I couldn't identify.
