Ahh... the ponderings of my daily life.
I'd say I'm pretty good at relationship advice- I helped my friend get the guy who she liked to like her back- so let's try this!
Ok so it depends on if the guy knows you like him. If so...
If he rejected you upon knowing you like him, you don't want to bring it up again. Just relax and act normal around him. If he starts to like you, he'll tell you. If he didn't reject you but he just knows... me too!!! I've just kinda been myself. Or tried to. I have a friend who's his friend, so I'd recommend telling one of his friends who's also your friend (whether he knows or not). My friend subtly talks me up or brings me up. Also, start conversations with him! Text or in-person works (I'd recommend in-person but I always go for text). Just make sure you're friendly with him :)
If he doesn't know you like him, just be yourself. If you guys don't talk much, try starting some conversations! Nothing weird, you can just join a conversation if he's talking to people you talk to. Or you could just say hi. Hi can take you anywhere! If you start to think he likes you back, maybe start hinting to him that you like him. Nothing too big- just subtle hints. Once he starts to get it, if he likes you back, he'll probably tell you.
Now, if you're saying he doesn't like you back because you know he likes someone else, this is also relatable. Don't bring her up around him, and otherwise just be yourself. 10000% start conversations with him! Trust me, I've been in this position twice, and both times the boy has ended up liking me back. And again, tell one of his friends who is also your friend. Honestly, if one of your really close friends talks to him occasionally just tell them, they can help just as much!
Honestly, take this advice only if you want to. Getting someone to like you back can be a chase, I know, so don't stress too much on whether or not they like you back. Overall, if you like someone, just be friendly. Be you. If they don't like you for you, you can do so much better. Something people say is: have you ever looked at someone and just thought "wow, I wish they liked me."? Someone's done that for you, too. You're loved.

Thanks so much for understanding, I know you never meant to cause any trouble. Our AEs can be besties if you want. Maybe you can change them up a bit? +I don't think Hawthorne would need any changes, maybe just change Lyra's name since Lyre sounds so similar. Magnolia and Mira are probably already meant to be like, sisters. That'd be fun, haha.
