Here, you can talk about anything and everything. (that is allowed on the CB, of course.) You can talk about happy or sad things, but in a manner that is lighthearted. I know there's a lot of sadness on he CB lately, and I think this might help. Talk about the past as a little old thing that used to be sad, but try to see the happy.

back to the Down to Earth

I remember when I was eight and my cousins and I went to the beach and we went body surfing on the waves.

That sounds fun! One time I went skiing and when I was going down the slope with my brother I completely wiped out. It was scary, but then we just started laughing and it was fun. I also remember the place where we got our skiing boots smelling terrible.

I remember the one and only time I went skiing- fifth grade school trip. I ended up falling over, out of control, in a ditch and hitting myself in the face with the stick thingy and just kinda lying there in the ditch with a bloodly nose... oops forgot this was a lightheartedness thread XD I did have a fun time talking to my friends on the ski lift rides and having fun on the easiest slope :)

Aww, this is a great idea! Smile

I just finished baking some Christmas cookies with my mom-we are trying to give them to as many people as possible this holiday season to be a sort of reminder to recognise the little things that put a smile on someone's face.

Again, this is a really good idea.

I was wondering, does anyone know how to add a new post onto the CB? I mean, like start a completely new thread?

Sorry, I'm new to this and am still figuring out how to use the CB.

Welcome, Trapezewiz,

From the home page of any section of Chatterbox (Blab About Books, Down to Earth, etc.) look for the shaded box near the top left. Then click on the place that says, "Click here to talk about _____." That should bring up a page with a form for beginning a new thread.

Oh I love skiing! I'm not very good I can go on the easier black diamonds but that's as high as I can go. I remember when I went on my first ski jump! It was so fun even though I wiped out.
