Chatterbox: Down to Earth

I am in

I am in a class with only 11 other in-person students. Everyone else is virtual. A few days ago, two people that are in-person got contact traced. One of them was my best friend. I have no other real friends in my in-person class, so whenever I'm at school I get really lonely. I used to look forward to every school day because my teacher's really nice and I have my best friend, but not anymore because without my best friend, my teacher is still nice, but i have recently found out that it's mostly my friend that I look forward to seeing. Without her, it seems like every sad thing that I had ignored before is crashing on top of me, like people being mean on the bus, one of my friends being a not-so-good friend, and COVID in general. Do you guys have any advice about what to do? If you don't, that's still fine, I just really needed to get this out.

I'm so sorry about that! I don't know how to help, but here's a quote that might...

"And if you're ever feeling lonley just look at the moon, someone, somewhere, is looking right at it too."

Hope that helps. And always remember that the CBers are here when you get home. *Hug*

Thanks! *hugs back* that's a really good quote. I'll try to remember it.
