My favorite word is probably wizard or leaf. I A) like wizards B) like the letter z and C) just like the way the word wizard sounds in general. I also like leaf because I like leaves, it's part of my CB name, it also sounds cool, and the plural version has a v. Actually, it's probably leaves, not leaf.

Umber is probably my favorite word. It just sounds sooo beautiful, it's a great word. Ummmber. Amber is already pretty but umber has earthier, richer, deeper tones to it. (I am referring to the sound of the word, not the color.) The color usually looks prettier in my head than it actuallly does because of this.

Bi-petual is also pretty great because I just love how it's a word. XD

And this isn't exactly a real word, but Shryiiwook (it's the language the Wookiees speak in Star Wars)

My favorite word is probably "glimmer" or "glide". Whenever I hear the word "glide", it feels like something swooping down. Same with "glimmer" — I can see sparkles floating around whenever I hear it (but I also see Glimmer from The Hunger Games giving me her smirk).

onomatopoeia has an absolutely exquisite ending, which *ahem* I must admit I may pride myself a bit too much on being able to spell correctly. but seriously, what other word can you think of that contains 4/5 vowels, let alone 4/5 vowels consecutively?

Cassiopeia is also a good word/name. I don't know if you've noticed from just the way this post is going but I'm totally a sucker for more-than-two-consecutive-vowel words XD

kaleidoscope is another good word! it doesn't have consecutive vowels but it does have a lot of vowels in it (aeio! in that order! kaleidoscope! is that cool or what?!)

my love of that word may also have something to do with the fact that "Lucy in the skyyyy with diamonds" is also "a girl with kaleiiiiidoscope eyyyyyyyes". If my name wasn't Luminescence already, it would probably be "the Girl with Kaleidoscope Eyes." Except I just tried and I realized it doesn't fit. XD never mind then.

"myriad" is also a really good word. and the sound of "cult" at the end of "difficult" is a nice sound. I also love spellings and words with the "ae" combo in them, it just looks so aesthetically perfect. "aesthetic" is an amazing word too.

"circumnavigated" sounds so sophisticated, I like that word a lot too... and I also like words with the "ph" in them. like "sophisticated."

I'm realizing now that most of my favorite words are because I love the spellings, not the sound XD
