Any CBer could live in your neighborhood and you would never know. You could see someone on the street, unaware fo the fact that you complemented their artwork on the CB. I know this is common sense, but it's hard to fathom anyway.

I know the chances are like 1/1000000, but like, how cool would it be to *accidentally* find out one of your friends was a CBer?? You're right, it really is hard to fathom, but that doesn't mean I can't hope for a coincidence someday :)

I actually do know a former (?) CBer, his name is Inari, although he hasn't been on in a lonnnng time.
We used to go to the same school, and I was, in fact, the one who introduced him to the CB.
Can't anyone ever have, like, an opposite gender friend?

I'm friends-ish with three guys in my science class. I have a crush on one of them, but I'm just friends with the other two. I also have a lot of guy-friends in my orchestra class.

There's nothing wrong with opposite gender friends, I've had friends who are boys since fourth/fifth grade. It really bothers me how one of my teachers thinks that any boy and girl that ever talks to each other has to be dating lol.

Ya know, there was once a time where we discussed a way we could distinguish ourselves as a CBer, like having the cricket logo somewhere on our shoes or backpacks.

Yeah! I remember at some point there was a thread where we made friendship bracelets in the colors of the sections of the CB--I still have mine.

Yes! And it's happened to me, actually- Majestic Mary is the friend of my friend and I'd met her at a birthday party before, but we had no idea for months!
