I don't see any threads about swimming, and I'm not sure if anyone here swims, but this is a place to talk about swimming. Whether it is just for fun, for a swim team, your favorite strokes, best times, whatever. It's just about swimming.
So today, we had a swim meet. I did 50 breastroke, 50 backstroke, and 50 freestyle. (all yards) My time is 48 seconds, 51 seconds, and 37.9 seconds. Also, my favorite to least favorite strokes are breastroke, freestyle, butterfly, and backstroke. Anyone here a breastroke swimmer?

I love swimming, although I don't do it competitively. Some friends live by a lake so I swim there a lot during the summer. In order from favorite to least favorite: backstroke, crawlstroke, breaststroke, butterfly. Usually when I'm swimming for fun I don't do any of those :P I do a weird combo or breaststroke and crawlstroke, plus I dive deep underwater instead of staying near the surface. Do you prefer lakes, the ocean, rivers, or pools? I like lakes and pools the best, rivers scare me a bit if they're fast moving and oceans are salty.

I swim! In the summertime, at least. Breastroke is one hundred percent my favorite stroke, and backstroke is my least. Last Tuesday was my most recent swim meet. I got first place in breastroke, and my relay team won both the free relay and the medley! I swam butterfly in the medley and surprisingly didn't die! I also swam against this girl from my school and beat her >:)

Cool! Good job on your wins! I was wondering though. Is the medley a 100 or a 200? I could totally swim a 25 butterfly nicely, but a 50? Oh no.
