Chatterbox: Down to Earth

I decided to make a thread about libraries since I just got my first library card recently (yay) and my library is celebrating it's 100th anniversary this year. It started serving the area in 1921.

Anyway, I am SO GLAD that the libraries are now open, and I have been taking advantage of its many features. I just go to my library's website, click a link and plug in my library card number (and sometimes my PIN), and boom! I'm on their resource. Some of my library's resources include a language-learning platform, a music website, and eBooks and eAudioBooks(at least, that's what my library calls it).

It's so cool how they said, "people should be able to read books for free, lets let them do it, but still have them return it so someone else can read it". It's such a cool system!

What does your library feature?

We use one with a couple branches, we main this small one not far from our house. The librarians know me by name!

Our library features what they call a "library of things" so you can check out stuff like magnatiles, outdoor games, such and such.
