this is the thread for making commercials before we release them. I am not sure if you already created one and it hasn' shown up, or I just didn't see it. I have a few ideas that I will post once this shows up.

Please don't make them realistic, because we don't post real ads.

Thank you Pancake! I have not created a thread, so this was perfect timing.

I think you were going to do something like a game that shows a video of how to play it if you don't win in a minute. I'm stuck on how to make it convincable. Like, do you have any points for why someone would want to buy it? I mean, for the person playing it, it is kinda annoying so I don't know any other reasons besides it could be an alternative sentence for a criminal instead of jail. But then, that would only apply to federal. Got any ideas?

Maybe we could make so every time you play it you have to pay 1 dollar, but if you win you get five dollars. Also, here is my other commercial. I am working on it's other commercial.

Speechshar Phone Service

Announcer: Have you ever had the problem of calling 911 but you don’t know the address? Well, this is the app for you! Download the app and it will track your location to send it to the 911 people when you call. They will contact the nearest (insert name of 911 station I don’t know what they are called). Here’s a clip of how it works:

CLIP PLAYS

*Person gets in car accident*

*Person activates Speechshar Phone Service App*

911 person: *calmly* Press 1 if you are dead. Press 2 if you are dying. Press 3 if you have a possibly fatal injury or might die or begin dying. Press 4 if you have a serious injury. Press 5 if you have a average injury. Press 6 if you have a small injury. Press 7 if you have lost a large amount of blood. Press 8 if you lost a medium amount of blood. Press 9 if you lost a small amount of blood. Press 0 if you have no injuries and need consoling. Hang up if you are fine.

*Person presses 3*

911 person: *calmly* we are sending someone right now. We have contacted the nearest (insert name of 911 station I don’t know what they are called). It will be a ten minute wait.

*Person waits*

*Person nearly dies*

*911 people make it just in time*

CLIP ENDS

Announcer: And that’s how it works! You can buy it for only 7.99 right now! Here are some comments!

COMMENTER:

-This works great! I just needed to press 0, and they helped me a lot!

-I almost died because there was no (insert name of 911 station I don’t know what they are called) nearby.

-It is awful! You have to wait for the person to stop talking before you can press a button or hang up!

-Look at the video! They nearly died!

-It’s 25.99. It’s not worth it.

-You should definitely buy this! They saved my family’s life once!

I will attach the logo ideas after this shows up. please tell me which one you think is best. Also, Speechshar will be giving language services. I haven't made the commercial for it though.

Pancake, unless you draw these "logos" yourself, we can't allow them on the CB. --admin

OK. Then forget about the logos for now.

I have a few edits on the Speechshar Phone service:

For the comments, a) it's not clear for some of them whether they are positive or negative, and b) there needs to be more positive than negative ratings. For the numbers in the phone call, losing blood counts as an injury, so you need a different scenario for 7, 8, and 9. Say, maybe the person has caught a disease. For example, I edited 911 person's line to include this:

911 person: *calmly* Press 1 if you are dead. Press 2 if you are dying. Press 3 if you have a possibly fatal injury or might die or begin dying. Press 4 if you have a serious injury. Press 5 if you have a average injury. Press 6 if you have a small injury. Press 7 if you have caught a fatal disease. Press 8 if you have caught a moderate disease. Press 9 if you have caught a small disease. Press 0 if you have no injuries and need consoling. Hang up if you are fine.

Or maybe the person is dehydrated:

911 person: *calmly* Press 1 if you are dead. Press 2 if you are dying. Press 3 if you have a possibly fatal injury or might die or begin dying. Press 4 if you have a serious injury. Press 5 if you have a average injury. Press 6 if you have a small injury. Press 7 if you are extremely dehydrated and do not have access to clean water. Press 8 if you are moderately dehydrated and do not have access to clean water. Press 9 if you are minimally dehydrated and do not have access to clean water. Press 0 if you have no injuries and need consoling. Hang up if you are fine.

That's all! By the way, I created a prototype commercial for the game:

Announcer: Do you love gambling, but just can't stand spinners, dies, or cards? Well, the gambling game console is here! It is wirelessly connected to your bank account, and withdraws $0.99 from your account if you lose, but  gives you $4.99 if you win! Also, if every minute that passes without losing or winning the game, a video on how to play the game appears on the TV, for moderate annoyance. It can turn over 1000+ games into gambling opportunities, including Minecraft, Super Mario, and other top games. Here's how it works:

*CLIP PLAYS*

*Person 1 playing on game console*

*Person 1 wins*

Person 1: Yes! That's five more dollars in my bank account! Now, let me hack the other one.

*Person 1 presses random buttons*

*Camera turns to Person 2, also playing on a similar game console*

*Person 2 loses*

Person 2: Oh shoot!

*CLIP ENDS*

Announcer: Well, that's how it works, get the GGC for only $99.99!

The changes are good! Though, I thought maybe it could be this (minor changes): Press 7 if you are dehydrated. Press 8 if you have caught some disease, minor or fatal. Press 9 if you just need help and there is no time to explain.

I like your commercial! I don't have any changes right now, but I didn't look over it carefully enough. I read it, but I didn't look for things to change. I will get back to you on that soon.

After looking over your commercial again, I didn't find anything we should change.

Here is speechshar's language commercial:

Speechshar

Announcer: If you are learning a language, you have probably had the problem of always getting one thing wrong. If this happens to you a lot, we have the perfect thing for you!

CLIP PLAYS

COVID 19 mask spins in place

Announcer: We edited a mask that will translate whatever you say into whatever language you wish to speak!

Watch spins in place

Announcer: This watch controls what language you speak through the mask, automatically set the time zone to where you are, and it controls the earpiece.

Thing that looks like a hearing aid spins

Announcer: This earpiece will decide what language you hear! You can buy them as a set for $87.99, or you can buy two of them for $77.99! You can buy them all separate for a grand total of $99.00, but no tax!

that's the entire commercial so far! Also, should I release the other commercials?

(December 21, 2021 - 9:02 am)

I think the 911 commercial(with the other stuff you added) and the GGC are ready to be released on the Fake Commercials thread. I have one edit on the language: Make an example of the products. The "viewer" would need to see how it works, or the product won't be very convincable.

By the way, if anybody besides Pancake and I comes on here wondering what this is, I'll explain. Pancake and I decided to make a thread where we work on commercials before releasing them on the the Fake Commercials thread, also created by Pancake.

I will edit the commercial once I can use the computer. Also, what does GGC stand for? I feel like it should be obvious.

(December 21, 2021 - 5:44 pm)

GGC stands for Gambling Game Console, since that's the product.

OK, now for the edited Speechshar commercial...

Announcer: Have you ever wanted to take a nice vacation? The ones with private beaches that are actually private, the luxury beds, the private beach house, and the huge TVs? Well, Xplore gives you a chance to get all of that! All you have to do is sign up and choose your destination. Xplore pays for half of the price.

Person 3: Xplore got me a dream vacation. A private beach with a beach house. The wind felt amazing. You would open the windows at night and in the morning, I felt refreshed.

CLIPS END

And here is Xplore's other commercial:

Xplore

Are you a writer who just doesn’t want to write, but you need to end your series? We have specialized AI to scrutinize your work and create new books for you.

CLIPS PLAY

Writer 1: Xplore helped me continue my series. I had a serious case of writer’s block, and Xplore cured it!

Writer 2: Xplore has been writing my series for over two months now. They create books faster than I ever did, but it still seems as if I wrote it.

CLIPS END

Announcer: This new feature is free if you have a full membership! Otherwise, it’s $20 dollars a book, $15 dollars to finish it, and $5 dollars to give you ideas. Call now!

Pancake, I'm not going to post even a made-up phone number, because it may turn out to be real for someone somewhere.

Good! Although you may need to change the name. There is a British company called Xplora that makes smart watches, and Xplore might cause confusion with Xplora. Other than that, it's great!
