OML MAID-SAMA I HAVEN'T THOUGHT ABOUT THAT IN SO LONG I miss slice-of-life so much right now!

Hunter x Hunter is more complex because don't get me wrong, I love it, but the 1999 and 2011 versions are so different it can be a little frustrating. But are missing stuff that is made up by the other, so I'm not sure which I should recommend?

Death Note (Yeeees, brilliant)

On a related note, Death Parade, which is by the same studio as Death Note and has a somewhat similar tone.

Senryuu Shoujo was so cute and wholesome :> 

"Bakarina" lol because why not? Also I love villainesses, even if she's not the best example. Plus the opening song is awesome.

Detective Conan / Case Closed is just classic sorry.

Men Qi Shi Shen(it is a donghua/Chinese one though) was an interesting historic one -- so was Meiji Tokyo Renka(as implied by the mention of Meiji and Tokyo, it's Japanese)

Kimetsu no Yaiba/Demon slayer is cool, although I've mostly stuck to the manga
