A tricky question...

Of similarities between

a raven and a writing desk,

there aren't many to be seen.

An odd conundrum to address.

Both could be of a darker hue,

and both are often made of wood

if we include wooden ravens too..

and if we aren't, then we should.

Both, I suppose, could possess eyes,

for who are we to prove desks don't?

Both subjects talk (among ravens, a squawk),

but desk language is, as of yet, unspoke.

An orange is orange. I believe that to be a truth, if not the truth.

It is understandable that you could get Darkvine and myself mixed up. When I first joined I hadn't realized there was an existing CBer at the time named Darkking, which I believe caused quite the confusion. Anyhow, I am the Dark(ling) that likes marching band, among other things. I've never read Wings of Fire. I believe both of us were in track/running events at some point, although Darkvine more than I; I don't care much for sports. Hopefully that clears it up a bit.

The gift of instant silence would be nice. My classmates constantly have a meaningless stream of words spewing from their mouths that I could most definitely do without: it would make return to school less mind-numbing. 

I thank you for your comment on my elegance, as well. It has been an odd season for compliments in the real world for me, but I'm glad to receive this one. I am a bit proud of my vocabulary, I will admit . . 

Bonjour, Tsuki! Although at the moment it's more like bonne nuit . . . What is up, is, as ever, the celestial heavens, unless you are standing on your head, in which case the celestial heavens are very much in a downward direction.

I do have pets; quite a few in fact. Our family has two fantastic cats; Zeke, and his sister, Irene. They are both very fluffy and mild-mannered, unless you try to give them a bath, and then they are neither of those things. We also have about eight chickens, but our current flock would be about our fifth one, and we haven't given them proper names. There were two fish, but they are deceased and have been that way for quite a while. And in December we are getting a dog (!!), which is quite exciting; a Saint Berdoodle who we plan on naming Marlow.

My least favorite subject in school is math; surprise, surprise. I do find it fascinating, but my brain is reluctant to retain any math-related information. 

I have two siblings, both younger. I am the eldest. My eight-year-old brother is going through an "annoying" phase (which has really been going on since he was three), and my sister is going through a "teen" phase, despite being twelve. Silence is rare.

And as for the universe, I suspect it is expanding into a never ending void; into a total lack of substance that is infinite. I hang out there sometimes.
