Weird.......

Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Weird.......

Weird.......

Can anybody define what weird is? Is it different than crazy? Tongue out Is being weird bad? I think everybody is weird in one way or another. My definition of weird is if you do something that other people do not that may be a little quirky. And NO I think being weird is GREAT! LaughingCool

That's what I think, but my computer thinks this:

1. odd

strange or unusual

2. supernatural

belonging to or suggesting the supernatural

3. of fate

relating to or influenced by fate

I like being weird!!Laughing

I also agree pretty much with Zoe, but my computer thinks this:

1. Uncanny

eerie, unnatural, supernatural, unearthly, otherworldy, ghostly, mysterious, strange, abnormaly, unusual, creepy, spooky, freaky.

2. Bizarre

quirky, outlandish, eccentric, unconventional, unorthodox, idiosyncratic, surreal, crazy, peculiar, strange, odd, queer, freakish, zany, madcap.

Hope I didn't just weird you out with all the information! (I have a weird sense of humor in the evenings.)

I love being weird!!!  Weird, I think, means unusual, strange, and abnormal.  But it definitely doesn't mean bad!!!

People tell me I'm weird. I don't believe 'em. I'm normal. It's the rest of the world that's completely nutty.

((Is it just me, or do the "Location" and "Age" textboxes keep switching places?))

It's just you.

Oh!  Could you imagine if the rest of the world was normal, too?!?!  We'd never stop laughing! :D:D:D:D:D Sigh...  No, it's not just you!  The boxes do randomly switch.  It's really annoying, because my age sure isn't "Gorham, Maine", and I sure don't live in "12"..... :D:D:D:D

Of course, you have to think - what if EVERYONE has a different perception of things? For example, my "green" is your "orange", and therefore my "orange" is your "green". We talk about the nice shade of green that the walls have painted, and we never notice a thing because we have the same words for our perception of things.

When I say "this carrot cube bounces", you actually hear what I would perceive as "That glow globe zaps", but you'd think I was talking about glow globes instead of carrots, because, as far as you know, I am.

We're living in a state of perpetual misunderstanding! Your tree is my cat! *froths at the mouth*

Your computer uses a lot of words! But I think they are  good words to describe weird.
