Olympics are cool,

Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Olympics are cool,

Olympics are cool, right? Well, what if invertebrates compete instead of humans? That's what a class at my school is doing on April 7th, 2010. Pretty soon, right? Why are they doing this? Because invertebrates help the enviroment/Earth so much, that they should be made a national symbol of the USA. So they are promoting invertebrates and their efforts. Then, they hope to raise enough money to go to Washington, DC, in May to present to Congress a national invertebrate symbol, hopefully succeeding. Which invertebrate should be the national symbol? Well, they have a website where you can vote for your favorite invertebrate, or the invertebrate worthy enough to be chosen as a symbol. Vote for the butterfly, though, okay? Butterflies rock. Although, ladybugs, fireflies, worms and ants are cool too. Ciao!

How about crickets and fireflies?
