Christmas trees- real

Christmas trees- real

Christmas trees- real or artificial? We normally get real, but this year we have a fake one. It looks pretty real, though, with all the lights and ornaments on it! (plus you can use it over and over, and it already has the lights on it. I still love real trees though!)

We always get a real Christmas tree. We put it in our living room by a window that is facing our backyard. We place sparkly lights on, and many of our favourite Xmas tree ornaments. Though this year my mom decided that we needed another tree to have in our music room, so that people driving by could see it. A couple days later my mom came home with a box that held our new artificial tree. It was an odd experience to put together a tree. But now we have two trees. One with a fresh pine smell, little angels, and glowing lights, and another one that is wrapped with shiny ribbons and huge golden balls.

Christmas trees are very pretty, but also very wasteful.  You have to throw it out after!!!  :(:(:(  We did that when I was little, but now we buy living saplings.  You can watch them grow bigger every year!!!  :):):)

We have a fake one, but I've always wanted a real one! I don't want a real one EVERY year - too much waste that's bad for the trees - but I want to have a live tree at least one year.

We always have fake trees.  Just recently we bought a really realistic fake tree.  Before that we had a lopsided one that was older than I was and had been through, like, seven moves--anyway it wasn't pretty.  But now we have to beautiful fake ones.  We don't have to worry about the lights, we just get to decorate!  By the way... Merry Christmas everyone!Laughing

Yeah, we always have a fake one. One year we did have a real one, but all the needles covered our carpet, and it was a MESS!!!! But I think we cleaned it up well. On our tree, we have LED lights. They are very bright, don't use as much electricity, and when you touch them, it doesn't burn. They are all different colors, and make our tree look very pretty!

Paige, do you have an Apple computer? If you do, you go to Google images and search something, then you click, drag the picture to the type box thing. I'm not sure about Windows; I use Apple more.

Was this helpful?

You mean a real PLANTED tree or a real CUT tree?  Cut trees are not eco-friendly in the least!

We always have a real tree. This year our tree's lower bark had been gnawed off by our goats, so it was going to die anyway. It was really funny, my mom sawed the top off so it would fit in our living room, but then it looked really bad, so she wired the top back on. You can't even notice!

Last year we had a gorgeous holly tree that fell on our driveway in a storm! It was really awesome.
