Chatterbox: Down to Earth

So much snow!!!

So much snow!!! At my house we have gotten like 18 inches from Friday to today (the 19th to the 21st), and it's still snowing.

P.S. Paige, have you gotten as much?

Wow, you guys, I am soooooooo jealous!  We haven't really gotten any snow hear in Ohio--at least where I live. I think up by the lake they got a TON. Anyway I was really hoping for a white Christmas, and it looks like it's just gonna be icy. Ick. Today it was 9 degrees without the windchill.

This weekend we had a snowstorm. I went to my cousin's house, and it wasn't too bad when we were driving up there, but when we were playing games and stuff, I looked out the window, and gosh, you couldn't see the house next-door. I don't know how much we have, but enough. It sure is pretty, (Not to make you any more jealous, Wendy). I don't think we have a foot of snow, well we might. It snowed six inches this weekend, that's enough, I think. It's the perfect amount!! One year in Duluth, they got SO much snow, people couldn't get out of their houses! Isn't that SAD?

Don't be jealous of me!!!  -30 is NOT fun!!!  *shivers*  And to Paige:  just boring old powder.  I haven't been able to make a snowman in years.  Winter is my least favorite season.  In Canada it lasts October 'till about April.  :|:|

Minnesota is really weird sometimes. On Christmas it was freezing. I don't know that temp, but maybe in the negatives. BUT I can say it was NOT -30! That's pretty cold! Yesterday, it was in the 30s, so it was good for snowmen. My friends and I had a snowball fight. I think I lost... And now today, it's MUCH colder! It was watery yesterday because it was melting a little, and now everything's ICE! It's not fun...Frown

Last night, the roads were really icy: so icy, my dad says, It was like driving on an ice rink. There were numerous accidents, and serious ones because the roads are carved out of the mountains, and if go spinning of the road you hit a sheer rock wall. It was really scary, seeing all the accidents. My dad couldn't get any traction. My brother and I couldn't make any noise so he could concentrate. Luckily, he's a good driver and we made it home safely. It was reeaally scary...
