I was thinking,

Chatterbox: Inkwell

I was thinking,

I was thinking, we could start a new story chain. You make up a new character, but they CAN'T be from the 21st century (they'll wind up there later). They have to be related to someone famous but NOT an actor, actress, singer, etc.

Mine is: Dehlia Ludington.

Related to a heroine of the American Revolution: Sybil Ludington.

Lives in Fredericksburg NY, 1777

Suddenly transported to the 21st century.

Age: Unkown

Short length blonde hair, blue-gray eyes, exactly 5 feet, rather pale.

Personality: Quiet most of the time, yet speaks out passionately when its something she cares about, strong, dependable, loving.

Hope ya'll like my idea!

~Elexhiia~

The girl walked uped to me and put a pouting face on. Great, the only kid actually brave enough to join me is some lamo from the olden days. "Not happening shorty. Now, does anybody here have an actual skill. Like killing, flying, healing, magic, building/fixing, using acroytulavors, and/or knowledge af the 37th dimension. All I heard was silence. I started walking away for the second time and for the second time I heard "Wait!" This time it was one of the boys.

Errol crosses his arms. "Wait," he repeats. "What do you mean by an actual skill?" He tugs on his scarf irritably. "I've got plenty of skills but I don't know if you'll appreciate them."

Elexhiia sighs out through her nose. "I'm waiting."

"Well... I've got this thing." He pushes up the sleeve of his oversize jacket to reveal the watch. Its analog face is backlit by a faint green glow. "I think it got me here."

Dehlia starred at Errol incredulously. "That's what got you here?" Elexhiia demanded. "And," Dehlia put in, "if you think that's what got you here, why didn't you say anything before?"

Short, I know, but I don't want to encroach on anyone's character.

This thread still needs a name. So, suggestions?

Errol twirls the bulky contraption around his wrist. "Duh. I swiped it from the Wings, who swore it was bad luck, which I also don't believe in," he says pointedly. "It did its science-y thingamajig and here I am."

Dehlia thought about that a moment. "A book brought me here," Dehlia said, talking slowly while she thought. "A watch you, chalk brought Felix, and the watching that girl bleeding caused Dora to come. Could they all be connected somehow? And if so, why?" Nobody could supply any answers. "See!" Elexhiia said, gesturing at all of them. "You don't even know WHY your here!" And suddenly, it clicked for Dehlia. "And that's why we need you," she said quietly, causing Elexhiia to stare at her. "We don't know why we're here. And we don't know how to get home. But you came here with a purpose! You know how to go home! If you leave us, our chances dwindle down to single digits. And frankly, you need us too." "How so?" Elexhiia demanded. "You know just as well that you're not likely to catch that man by yourself. As Benjamin Franklin said, 'We must all hang together, or assuredly we shall all hang separatley!' The fight for liberty can't be won by one, or even just a few alone. Americans must work together to gain our independence! We must band together to go home!" Here Dehlia stopped, partly out of breath. She thought about what her sister Sybil had done. How she had done something. "Well," Dehlia said, looking each person in the face. "I don't know about you, but I'm going after him. I'm going to fight to get home, as my sister rode for our independence!"

Cappie says omhk.

Inspirational speech FTW!

Errol claps Dehlia on the shoulder. "Then what are we waiting for, a sign from on high?" He pulls a notebook out of his sleeve and a pen from behind his ear. "First of all we need a plan. How are we going to do this and what are we willing to do to get back to our own times?"

Thank you! I was acutally watching an episode of Liberty's Kids, the one with Thomas Paine, and it sort of gave me inspiration! Before I write the next part, I was wondering if your all cool with us getting weapons of some sort? I'm rather geeky that way! So... Also, plan suggestions are welcome!

asdfghjkl;

LIBERTY'S KIDS?! *faints* That is a piece of my childhood I will never regain. I loved that show. Loved it to little tiny pieces and I was devastated when we moved to Michigan and we didn't get it anymore.

I also remember that episode. It was one of my favorites.

WOOHOO! Other Liberty's Kids fans! I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE Liberty's Kids! One of my all time favorite shows! Let me share with you, the secret of finding Liberty! There's a website that has all the episodes! Now, they rotate weekly. A new one comes available to watch, while you can't watch a previous one. But, they have the complete episodes and I was SO happy to find it! I listen to the theme song, Through My Own Eyes, ALL the time! I even made a video to it once, practicing video editing.

I always adored the theme song. I'm listening to it right now and even though I haven't heard it for YEARS, I can still sing it pretty accurately! Weird. Also, what is this website?! I must know. Reclamation of childhood memories will happen.

Weapons are fine by me, as long as I have something like a knife or gun. Bow and arrow? Hmm.

Sorry I haven't been posting. I just don't know what to say.
